NowMax vs Waveroom
Both stand on podcast recording software. Which one you can start free with, which one lets you read the code, and what each costs once you pay.
NowMax is built around remote interviews, with local participant recordings and separate tracks for editing. Its pricing is available on request, and the privacy policy says recordings are kept for as long as the interviewer requires.

The Free plan covers sessions of up to five participants; groups needing 10 or more can consider Enterprise. Look elsewhere if mobile support or simplified editing is essential now, since both are listed as upcoming features.
