Overview

Shopify products sync automatically, and shoppers complete purchases through the merchant’s existing Shopify checkout. That keeps product selection and payment connected to the store’s own sales flow. Selected streams can also appear in iimpro’s shopping marketplace, offering an additional way to reach shoppers without changing the core Shopify setup.

Broadcasts automatically become shoppable replays on the merchant’s website, while downloaded footage can be cut into clips for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This extends the value of producing a live event, but merchants still have to choose and edit clips for social publishing.

Key features

Live shopping: Merchants can feature Shopify products and interact with customers during video. That makes iimpro a stronger fit for products that benefit from demonstration and questions than for catalogs that need little explanation.
Shoppable replays: Automatic replays give customers a way to revisit a stream and its products after the event. Stores investing in video can get more mileage from a broadcast than a live-only format provides.
Social clips: Merchants can download stream content and cut clips for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. The footage can support a broader content routine, though editing remains part of the merchant’s work.
Performance reporting: Reports cover product engagement, clicks, sales, peak engagement moments, video-influenced revenue, and live-versus-replay performance. These measures help merchants assess which products and formats attract attention and sales.
AI guidance: Product and theme recommendations, plus advice on when to go live, are marked as coming soon, so they should not factor into a decision to adopt iimpro today.

Pricing

The Starter plan is 0.00 USD per free, free to install, with no monthly subscription and a 6% commission on order subtotals. That removes a fixed subscription cost, which may suit a store trying live shopping without adding a monthly bill. The commission is the trade-off: as order subtotals grow, so does the amount paid to iimpro.

Starter is the only priced plan in the published offering. There are no published paid-plan prices to compare, so merchants should not assume a higher tier or different commission structure. Budget for the commission alongside normal selling costs.

Platforms

iimpro supports Android, iOS and web. Its defining store connection is Shopify syncing and checkout, so platform coverage does not make it a general-purpose option for merchants on other commerce systems.

Who it's for

iimpro is aimed at Shopify merchants, particularly jewellery, fashion and skincare brands in Australia and the UK. It makes the most sense for sellers whose products can be shown effectively on video and who can turn broadcasts into replays and social clips. Sellers remain responsible for product listings, delivery, customer enquiries and complaints, returns, refunds and applicable taxes; this is a selling tool, not a replacement for those retail operations.

The terms also put account security responsibilities on users, including protecting credentials and notifying iimpro about unauthorised use or security breaches. Third-party integrations may access, process, transmit and store integration data as needed to function. For support, iimpro directs users to contact@iimpro.stream.

Pros and cons

Pro: Automatic Shopify product sync and the store’s existing checkout keep the buying flow tied to the merchant’s catalog and storefront.
Pro: Automatic shoppable replays and downloadable video give a broadcast potential value beyond its live audience.
Pro: Reporting spans engagement, sales and live-versus-replay performance, giving merchants several ways to assess video commerce.
Con: The 6% commission on order subtotals means the free-to-install plan is not cost-free when orders are placed.
Con: Sellers retain substantial operational duties, including fulfilment, customer service, returns, refunds and taxes.
Con: AI recommendations and timing guidance are not yet available, and social clips require merchant editing.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Social Commerce Software and Live Shopping Platforms.

Bambuser is worth comparing if you want a free tier with defined monthly limits: its Free plan allows 250 views per month, 2 users, 1 domain or market and 10 GB of storage. It also offers a free trial.
Pinterest Shopping is a better direction if your priority is free product listings on Pinterest; campaigns are paid, and only catalog-created product Pins can be promoted.
TalkShopLive offers a free Shopify Basic plan with usage charges of $0.30 per item sold plus 10.25% of order value. Compare that structure with iimpro’s 6% commission on order subtotals before choosing a transaction-based model.
TikTok Shop has no setup fee and charges 6% commission on each sale, making it a relevant comparison for merchants weighing another commission-based selling option.
Taggbox may suit a different social-content use case: its free plan includes 1 feed, 500 views per month, 500 posts and updates every 4 days, with manual moderation.
LTK is an alternative for brands looking at creator collaborations; its Launch plan costs 99.00 USD per month and includes 10 creators per month, $25,000 annual collaboration spend, 1 user seat and 1 promoted brand.
Facebook Shops is an option for eligible businesses seeking a free storefront, with checkout availability varying by market.
Mavely is another freemium option to consider.

Verdict

Choose iimpro if you run a Shopify store with video-friendly products and want live selling, shoppable replays and performance reporting in one workflow. Its strongest case is the connection between broadcasts and the store’s own catalog and checkout; its clearest drawback is the 6% commission, alongside the seller responsibilities that remain yours. Look elsewhere if you are not on Shopify or want a free plan without a sales commission.
