Overview

Growyze is back-of-house software for food-service operators that want stock, purchasing and food-cost records to work together. It suits hotels, restaurants, cafés and bars, particularly those running more than one location. Its breadth is appealing, but the Free plan is tightly capped and Pro charges for invoice validations beyond its allowance.

Key features

Stock, ordering and waste

Barcode scanning and digital stocksheets support stock counts, and Growyze says they can cut stocktake time by 60%. Purchase orders, delivery records and waste monitoring extend the workflow from ordering to recording what is discarded. That combination is useful for venues trying to keep routine back-of-house records together; the claimed time saving is not a guarantee for every operation.

For multi-site businesses, Enterprise adds stock transfers. Growyze also displays integrations with Square, Clover, Go-EPOS and Newbridge, plus Xero and Sage. These integrations may help fit the product into an existing setup, although the listed logos alone do not establish what data each connection exchanges.

Invoice checks and reporting

Three-way automated validation compares orders, deliveries and invoices, flagging discrepancies. It addresses mismatches across the purchasing chain rather than treating an invoice in isolation. Pro includes 25 validations per venue, then charges £0.50 per invoice, so businesses processing invoices frequently should calculate the likely add-on cost.

Dashboards cover expected versus actual cost of goods sold, gross profit analysis and item price changes. Recipe tools calculate costs and margins and store allergen information and other recipe details, linking menu-level decisions with purchasing and inventory work.

Access and support

Growyze works on iOS, Android and desktop browsers without a separate download. Setup help is available, with support by email, phone and in-person training. The trial also includes setup on or off site upon request, a practical way for operators to get help establishing workflows.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	Free	2 stocktakes, 5 supplier orders, 50 suppliers, 5 delivery notes, 10 automated invoice validations, 10 recipes, 10 dishes, 20 waste records and 1 of each report.
Pro	79.00 USD per month, billed Monthly	Per venue, unlimited users and 25 automated invoice validations, then £0.50 per invoice.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	For bigger or enterprise food and beverage businesses; unlimited automated order imports, multi-site rollout and stock transfers.

The Free plan is a useful way for a small venue to try the core workflow, but its caps on stocktakes, orders, delivery notes and invoices make it a poor fit for sustained, high-volume use. Pro costs 79.00 USD per month per venue and has no user cap, a clear advantage for teams sharing access; its invoice allowance is the key variable cost to watch. Enterprise is aimed at larger operators needing multi-site rollout and transfers, but its custom pricing calls for a quote before budgeting.

Growyze offers a 30-day trial without requiring a card. The paid pricing model starts at $79/mo.

Platforms

Growyze is available on Android, iOS and web, with browser access on desktop and no separate download required.

Who it's for

Hotels, restaurants, multi-location cafés and bars are the clearest fit, as are other food and beverage businesses that need stock, purchasing, invoice checks, recipes and waste records in one workflow. A single small venue can start on Free, while Pro suits a venue needing more users and a larger operating allowance. Businesses with multiple sites that need stock transfers should consider Enterprise. Operators focused on only one narrow purchasing task may find the breadth unnecessary.

Pros and cons

Pros: Stock, orders, deliveries, invoice validation, waste and recipe costing sit in one hospitality workflow, reducing the need to manage these records in separate systems.
Pros: Pro allows unlimited users per venue, making it practical for teams without a per-seat constraint.
Pros: The no-card 30-day trial and optional setup help give operators a low-commitment way to assess fit.
Cons: Free caps core activity, including 2 stocktakes and 10 invoice validations, so it is unlikely to serve as a lasting plan for busy operations.
Cons: Pro charges £0.50 for each invoice validation after the included 25, which can raise costs for high-volume venues.
Cons: Enterprise uses custom pricing, so larger multi-site businesses cannot assess its cost from a fixed monthly price.

Alternatives

Restaurant Procurement Software is a category shortlist for readers comparing procurement-focused options. For a broader stock-control comparison, see Restaurant Inventory Management Software.

PurchaseFlow is worth considering for early-stage operators with 1–4 sites: its Startup Program offers the full platform free for the first 2 sites for 12 months, subject to application. OpenProperty is a free web-based alternative. OnePe Supplier Management is a freemium web-based alternative.

FOOD-TRAK is a paid alternative available on Android, iOS, web and Windows. BlueCart is paid, supports Android, iOS, web and API access, and uses feature-dependent pricing by request. Craftable is another paid option for Android, iOS and web. Millum Procurement offers pricing on request and can be bought individually or through a purchasing organization, with optional modules. BirchStreet eProcurement is web-based, with pricing and package limits available through a scheduled demo.

Verdict

Growyze is a strong fit for hospitality operators who want stock, purchasing, invoice checking, waste and recipe costing joined in one back-of-house workflow, especially when several staff need access. The free trial and unlimited Pro users make it straightforward to assess with a team. Look elsewhere if invoice volume makes the per-validation charge unattractive, or if you need predictable pricing for a multi-site rollout.
