Overview

Built around the Pomodoro Technique, Focus To-Do lets users assign execution time to tasks and focus until the timer ends. The task list can also hold work and study plans, shopping lists, birthday reminders and schedules, so it can serve as an everyday organizer as well as a work tool.

Its strongest idea is connecting planned work to time spent: tasks and projects can be organized, given estimated Pomodoro counts, then reviewed through historical statistics. That combination is useful for people who want to track how work gets done, not just remember what is next. It is more than necessary for anyone looking only for a basic countdown timer.

Key features

Adjustable focus sessions

Timer sessions can be paused and resumed, with customizable work and break lengths, short or long breaks, skipped breaks and continuous mode. This flexibility accommodates different routines without detaching the timer from the tasks being done. Estimated Pomodoro counts can help break larger work into timed sessions.

Task organization and reporting

Tasks can be organized into projects with due dates, recurring schedules, reminders, subtasks, color-coded priorities and notes. These tools make the app useful for ongoing projects as well as one-off reminders, though they add planning overhead for users who simply want to start a timer.

Reports cover work time, completed tasks, daily, weekly and monthly time, and project time ratios. Those views can help users assess how their effort is distributed over time rather than relying on memory; the app's value is consequently strongest for people who will review their history.

Sync and privacy

Focus To-Do synchronizes data across devices, including iPhone, Mac, Android, Windows, iPad and Apple Watch. Registered premium-member data is transmitted using SSL encryption. The company says synced task data is collected for synchronization and that it will not read list or task content; personal information collected and generated by the product is stored in China.

Local mode requires no registration, but its data cannot sync and is lost if the app is uninstalled. That is a meaningful limitation for anyone using the app as the sole home for important tasks: local mode avoids an account, but it is not a backup.

Pricing

Focus To-Do is freemium. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and is a free download with in-app purchases, making it the sensible starting point for users who want to try the task-and-timer approach before paying. Premium is offered as a 3 Months in-app purchase at 3.99 USD per month, billed 3 Months. That option suits users prepared to pay for a shorter commitment; its total charge for the billing period is 11.97 USD.

Focus To-Do Premium and Lifetime are also named plans, both with custom pricing. The published plan details do not establish a seat limit, usage quota, trial length or renewal term, so users should confirm those terms before choosing a paid option. No published price is given for Premium or Lifetime.

Platforms

Focus To-Do is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web, Windows and as an extension. Its cross-platform reach is a practical advantage for people who move between devices, and the stated synchronization support also includes iPad and Apple Watch. A local-mode setup, however, gives up cross-device sync.

Who it's for

Choose Focus To-Do if you want one place to organize projects and everyday reminders, time tasks with adjustable Pomodoro sessions, and review work history across devices. It is less suited to people who want only a lightweight timer or who need local-only task data to survive an uninstall without a separate backup.

Pros and cons

Pro: Tasks, projects and adjustable focus sessions work together, so planning and timed execution stay connected.
Pro: Historical reports break down work time and completed tasks by day, week, month and project, supporting review of work patterns.
Pro: Android, iOS, macOS, web, Windows and extension coverage supports a cross-device workflow.
Con: Local data cannot sync and disappears when the app is uninstalled, making local mode risky for a primary task archive.
Con: Personal information collected and generated by the product is stored in China, a relevant consideration for users with data-location requirements.
Con: Premium and Lifetime have custom pricing, while the 3-month option is billed in a single three-month period rather than month to month.
