Overview

Flonnect records PowerPoint, Google Slides, and other presentation formats with webcam and audio, for webinars, tutorials, demos, and training. Presentation mode synchronizes recording with slides and supports auto-advance and speaker notes; canvas recording and video-with-slides layouts give presenters alternatives when a standard slide show is not the right fit.

It combines camera placement, picture-in-picture, custom layouts, and noise-cancelled narration with live annotation tools. That makes it a versatile choice for explaining material as it appears, rather than adding commentary after the recording. Uploaded videos are public by default to anyone with the shared link, however, so access settings deserve attention before sharing private or internal content.

Key features

Recording, layouts, and annotation

Supported inputs include PPTX, Google Slides, Keynote, PDFs, and image formats. Presenters can reposition the camera, choose picture-in-picture or custom layouts, and use a digital pen, pencil, text, checkmarks, shapes, arrows, and color selection while recording. These controls suit lessons and product walk-throughs where emphasis and visible presenter presence matter; the breadth of options may be unnecessary for someone who only needs a basic screen capture.

Sharing and collaboration

Presentations can be exported or shared through YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, email, and other social platforms. The page also lists YouTube, Gmail, GitHub, Bitbucket, Google Drive, Slack, Notion, LinkedIn, Zoom, Teams, and Vimeo integrations, with HubSpot marked as coming soon. Team workspaces, invited members, version control, permissions, password-protected sharing, and cloud backup support shared production. Those controls sit alongside the public-link default, so teams should check access before distributing a recording.

Transcript generation and viewer analytics are also available. Flonnect says its support team aims to respond within 24 hours and typically replies within 24 hours on business days.

Pricing

The Free/ Starter plan costs 0.00 USD per free (billed $0). It allows 20 lifetime videos, including transcription and editing, 10 bug reports per month, 5 HTML/demo captures per month, 1 GB storage, and meeting recording with a bot. It is a useful way to try the recorder, but the lifetime video cap makes it a poor fit for sustained publishing.

Pro costs 12.00 USD per month (billed $12/month) and includes 30 videos, 50 bug reports, 25 HTML/demo captures, 10 meeting recordings, 50 AI credits, and 10 GB storage per month. It is the lowest-priced paid option and suits an individual with regular but moderate recording needs.

Business costs 20.00 USD per month (billed $20/month). Its monthly allowances rise to 100 videos, 200 bug reports, 100 HTML/demo captures, 50 meeting recordings, 100 AI credits, 50 AI generations, and 50 GB storage. It fits heavier use that does not require the team controls and shared storage in the next tier.

Team costs 32.00 USD per user per month (billed $32/user/mo), with 500 videos, 1,000 bug reports, 500 HTML/demo captures, and 200 meeting recordings per month, plus 200 AI credits and 100 AI generations per user. It adds collaboration, a shared workspace, admin controls, and 200 GB shared storage, making it the relevant tier for teams that need centralized work. Enterprise has custom pricing and includes a dedicated server, BYOK, custom limits, an SLA guarantee, dedicated support, and SSO/SAML.

Platforms

Flonnect is available as an extension and on macOS, web, and Windows, giving users options across desktop and browser-based workflows.

Who it's for

Educators, students, content creators, sales professionals, webinar creators, and corporate trainers are the intended audience. It is strongest for people who need to present slides while remaining visible, annotate material live, and share finished recordings. It is less compelling for a presenter who needs only a simple recording or who cannot use link-based sharing for sensitive content.

Pros and cons

Pro: Slide synchronization, speaker notes, and auto-advance are geared to presenting a deck rather than merely capturing a screen.
Pro: Camera layouts, narration with noise cancellation, and live annotations support polished explanations in a single recording workflow.
Pro: Team workspace and permission features can support collaborative production, while Pro starts at 12.00 USD per month.
Con: Free includes only 20 videos for a lifetime, limiting its usefulness for ongoing publishing.
Con: Uploaded videos are public to anyone with the shared link by default, requiring care with confidential material.
Con: Team costs 32.00 USD per user per month, so its collaboration controls come at a per-user price.

Alternatives

For product-demo workflows rather than slide-led recording, compare the Interactive Product Demo Software category; for closer recording comparisons, see Presentation Recording Software or Screen Recording Software.

Floik is another freemium option with a free trial; its Starter plan caps published Flos, created Flos, recording length, and guide steps, while Pro is 39.00 USD per mo. Choose it when those guided-demo limits and its higher-priced Pro tier better match the job.

Guideflow offers a Solo plan at 35.00 USD per month billed yearly, with unlimited guideflows, advanced analytics, AI demo content, video and GIF export, translation, and sensitive-element blurring. It is worth considering when those demo and export capabilities matter more than Flonnect's slide-oriented recording.

Supademo has a free-forever plan with one creator/admin, five guided interactive demos, and 50 video recordings in 4K. Choose it when that guided-demo allowance is a better fit than Flonnect's 20 lifetime videos.

Arcade offers a free plan for one user with one published demo, one published video, 200 AI credits per month, and unlimited views. It is a reasonable alternative when a small free publishing allowance and view volume are the priority.

Storylane has a free plan with one seat, one published demo, unlimited demo views, an AI content assistant, and voiceovers. It may suit a single-seat demo workflow that values unlimited views.

Folio offers a free plan for one user with up to two basic demos and templates, unlimited demo steps and views, and watermarking. Consider it when a small, watermarked demo setup is enough.

LiveDemo has a free-forever Startup plan for one creator with three published demos. It is an alternative for a solo user whose needs fit that publishing cap.

MagicDemo has a free plan for one user with up to five demos, basic analytics, community support, a template library, and MagicDemo branding. It suits a solo user seeking a limited free demo setup.

Verdict

Choose Flonnect if you regularly teach, explain, or sell with slide decks and want webcam, narration, annotations, and sharing in one workflow. Its strongest reason to choose it is the slide-aware recording toolkit; its clearest reason to look elsewhere is the public-by-default video link, especially for sensitive material.
