Overview

Spoki brings WhatsApp, voice, SMS, and email into a platform for customer engagement. Lead qualification, conversation routing, marketing journeys, and human handoff support work that crosses from automated outreach to staff handling a conversation. That scope makes it a stronger fit for businesses coordinating several customer-facing functions than for those seeking only a basic WhatsApp campaign tool.

Spoki says more than 4,500 businesses in over 120 countries use its service. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in San Vito dei Normanni, Italy, it describes itself as an Official Meta Tech Partner with certified WhatsApp Business API access. Its privacy policy says personal data is encrypted in transit with TLS/SSL and at rest with AES-256 or equivalent, and hosted within the European Economic Area.

Key features

Spoki's AI assesses intent, urgency, and sentiment and can respond, escalate, or wait. AI agents can automate customer support, marketing, sales, and lead qualification, while human handoff gives teams a route to take over conversations. This is a useful combination for businesses seeking more than scripted replies, but AI is absent from the Free plan.

Unlimited operators and automations across the named plans are attractive for teams that need to add staff or build recurring workflows without a stated seat or automation cap. They do not remove the conversation-based usage constraint: above three times a plan's included conversations, Spoki requires an upgrade and bills excess usage with a surcharge.

Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier, and others. The platform also lets users request an API key through its Integrations menu. This range can connect customer conversations to commerce and sales tools, though teams should confirm that their required workflow is covered before choosing a plan.

Spoki is a browser-based app for desktop or mobile, not a native mobile app. Android and iOS access is therefore through the web experience rather than a Spoki app. The free trial requires no credit card.

Pricing

Spoki has a Free plan and three priced plans. WhatsApp fees are billed separately by Meta on each paid plan, so the subscription price is not the full WhatsApp cost.

Free: Live chat, unlimited operators, unlimited automations, and ticketing. It excludes AI, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, and payment requests. This is a sensible starting point for teams that need shared live-chat handling and ticketing, but not AI-assisted or campaign-led work.
Service — 39.00 EUR per month: AI customer support, unlimited operators and automations, and ticketing. It suits support teams that want AI alongside human operators; WhatsApp fees are extra.
Marketing — 79.00 EUR per month: Unlimited operators and automations, with WhatsApp fees extra. The plan is aimed at marketing workflows, but the stated inclusions do not name AI, ticketing, or the campaign features included in Sales.
Sales — 119.00 EUR per month: AI sales agent, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, and payment requests, with WhatsApp fees extra. This is the most relevant option for teams combining sales automation with campaigns and commerce follow-up.

The paid tiers all include unlimited operators, but that should not be mistaken for unlimited conversations. Once usage exceeds three times the included conversation allowance, an upgrade is required and excess usage carries a surcharge.

Platforms

Spoki supports web, Android, iOS, and API access. Its browser-based service works from desktop or mobile, but the company says there is no dedicated mobile app. API access is available by requesting a key from the Integrations menu.

Who it's for

Spoki is a good fit for businesses that want marketing, sales, and support conversations in one system, especially when they need automation, lead qualification, routing, and human handoff together. Service is the clearest match for AI-assisted support; Sales suits businesses pursuing campaigns and sales follow-up; Marketing targets marketing work without the stated Sales features. Teams that need a native mobile app, only want basic WhatsApp broadcasts, or need predictable total messaging costs may prefer a narrower or more transparent option.

Pros and cons

Pro: Multiple channels and shared customer engagement tools can serve marketing, sales, and support without limiting the platform to one department.
Pro: Unlimited operators and automations on the named plans give growing teams room to add staff and workflows.
Pro: AI decision-making and human handoff support both automated responses and staff escalation.
Con: WhatsApp fees are separate on every paid plan, making the subscription price an incomplete measure of cost.
Con: High conversation use can force an upgrade and add a surcharge once it exceeds three times the plan allowance.
Con: There is no native mobile app, and the Free plan omits AI and several sales and campaign functions.

Alternatives

AiSensy is worth considering for teams comparing freemium WhatsApp options: its Free Forever plan gives fair-use limits of up to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes, and 50 segments. Botcadence may suit a small team prioritizing a defined free allowance for AI replies and WhatsApp broadcasts: its Free plan includes 100 AI reply credits per month, 200 broadcast messages per month, unlimited contacts, one team member, and one project.

Gupshup is an alternative for teams weighing message-based charges: its stated messaging fee is 0.001 USD per message, with WhatsApp fees billed at actuals. Landbot offers a different starting point for web chat, with a Free plan that lasts indefinitely and includes 100 chats per month and one seat.

Manychat is another freemium option, with a Free plan capped at 25 Active Contacts per month, two channels, four active automations, one user, and one Inbox seat. Dashly is positioned at a much higher stated price point: its AI Inbound Revenue Agents plan is 2500.00 USD per month. Verloop.io is another paid option for web, iOS, and Android. Conversica offers custom enterprise pricing for teams seeking a tailored solution. Browse conversational marketing software or WhatsApp marketing software for more options in those categories.

Verdict

Choose Spoki if your business needs one platform for multichannel engagement, automation, and human support, and its unlimited operators and workflows match the way your teams work. Look elsewhere if you need a native mobile app or a clearer total cost: separate Meta WhatsApp fees and possible upgrade surcharges make the paid price only part of the bill.
