Overview

desk.ly brings desk, meeting-room and parking reservations together with tools for understanding office use. It is a strong fit for hybrid-work organisations that want booking data and workplace analytics in one platform, but mobile access and some advanced capabilities depend on the plan.

Employees can book spaces, while administrators can use occupancy and utilisation data to consider how workspace is allocated. The browser service needs an internet connection and runs without special software, hardware or servers. desk.ly GmbH is based in Osnabrück, Germany.

Key features

Bookings for desks, rooms and parking

desk.ly covers several common office reservations in one system, with floor-plan views and booking check-in. The breadth is useful for workplaces coordinating more than desks, but the plan split matters: Corporate centres on desk booking, while meeting rooms, parking and guest booking are Enterprise features.

Occupancy and actual use

Analytics turn booking data into occupancy and utilisation views, giving administrators a basis for spotting underused space. The desk.ly Connect add-on tracks actual workplace usage, automates check-in and provides utilisation insights without costly hardware investments. Organisations that need actual-use signals should distinguish this add-on from analytics based on bookings.

Integrations, apps and security

The platform advertises more than 250 integrations, including Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Google Calendar. Enterprise Plus adds HRIS connections such as Workday, Personio and SAP SuccessFactors, calendar synchronisation and a RESTful API, making it the tier to consider for deeper system connections.

Native Android and iOS apps support booking desks, rooms and parking, but the comparison includes the mobile app in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus, not Corporate. All plans are marked GDPR compliant and ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Pricing

desk.ly is freemium, with a free plan and paid pricing from €1.65/user/mo. A free trial is also offered.

Free: 0.00 EUR per free, for up to 15 users for as long as you like. It includes Enterprise features, making it a practical way for a small team to use the platform without a subscription; the 15-user ceiling limits its suitability for larger organisations.
Corporate: 165.00 EUR per month, billed per user and month. It includes desk booking, analytics, Microsoft/Google SSO and the Microsoft Teams app. This suits organisations focused on desk coordination, but excludes the Enterprise tier's room, parking, guest-booking and mobile-app capabilities.
Enterprise: 275.00 EUR per month, billed per user and month. It adds meeting rooms and catering, parking, guest booking, the mobile app and personalised customer support to Corporate features. It is the more complete choice for offices coordinating visitors and multiple resource types.
Enterprise Plus: custom pricing, with 300+ licenses. It includes Enterprise features plus an API, HRIS integrations, calendar synchronisation and heatmap analytics. Its scale and integration set target larger organisations; custom pricing means buyers need a quote.

The free tier is capped by users, while the paid tiers are billed per user and month. Check the plan choice against required booking types and mobile access before settling on a lower tier.

Platforms

desk.ly supports web, Android, iOS and an API. Browser access requires an internet connection; native mobile apps are included in Enterprise and Enterprise Plus.

Who it's for

desk.ly is best suited to hybrid-work organisations that need to coordinate desks and, at higher tiers, rooms, parking and visitor bookings while reviewing workplace utilisation. Small teams can start on the 15-user free plan. Corporate fits desk-focused teams comfortable booking through the web, while organisations that need mobile apps, room and parking reservations, or personalised support should look at Enterprise. Enterprise Plus is aimed at deployments with at least 300 licenses and more demanding HRIS or API needs.

Pros and cons

Pro: Desk, room, parking and guest bookings can sit in one platform, reducing the need to split workplace reservations across tools.
Pro: Booking analytics provide occupancy and utilisation views, with Connect offering actual-use tracking and automated check-in without costly hardware investments.
Pro: The free plan supports up to 15 users indefinitely, giving small teams room to use the platform without a paid term.
Pro: Every plan is marked GDPR compliant and ISO/IEC 27001 certified.
Con: Corporate does not include the mobile app, meeting rooms, parking or guest booking, so teams needing those capabilities must move to Enterprise.
Con: Enterprise Plus requires 300+ licenses and custom pricing, putting its advanced integrations beyond the needs of many smaller teams.

Verdict

Choose desk.ly if your organisation wants workplace bookings and occupancy analytics together, particularly when its free plan's 15-user allowance or Enterprise resource and visitor bookings match your needs. Look elsewhere if mobile booking is essential at a desk-focused plan, or if Enterprise Plus's 300-license threshold and custom pricing do not suit your organisation.
