Overview

ClozDesign lets users adjust garment details, colors and artwork, then inspect designs from different angles. Its garment library spans 249 models across categories such as T-shirts, shirts, pants, jackets, hoodies, dresses and swimwear. That range makes it relevant beyond basic tee mockups, though the product's value depends on whether the available garment models suit a particular collection.

The described workflow moves from 3D design to on-model and collection review, then sharing visuals and specs with a manufacturer. Projects and uploaded artwork can be reopened after signing in. Users can sign in by email or Google; Google sign-in does not give ClozDesign the account password.

Key features

Garment and on-model editing

Users can change garment details, colors and artwork in the browser, view designs from different angles, and switch among people, poses and garment types for on-model mockups. This is useful for comparing how a design reads across different presentations without leaving the workspace.

Sharing and commerce visuals

The workflow supports sharing visuals and specs with a manufacturer, and the tools page describes listing visuals for Shopify and Etsy drafts. These are presentation aids, not a substitute for production files: exports are described as visual mockups, and manufacturers should confirm their own production requirements. ClozDesign also offers garment-customization requests that can include the selected garment and current artwork.

Beta and output limits

ClozDesign is a public beta, so features, models, export behavior and availability may change. That uncertainty matters for teams building repeatable production workflows. The product explicitly frames exports for review and presentation, and it does not offer print-ready export; buyers needing manufacturing-ready output should look elsewhere or confirm requirements with their manufacturer.

Pricing

ClozDesign is freemium. Free costs 0.00 USD per free and includes free editing and previews, 3 projects total and 20 MB image storage. Exports require Pro, making Free suitable for exploring the editor but restrictive for anyone who needs to deliver mockups.

Pro costs 9.90 USD per month, billed monthly. It removes the project and image-storage caps, includes unlimited image, video and GLB exports with no watermarks, interactive 3D sharing, all AI models and 250 monthly credits. It is the practical choice for ongoing design and presentation work, though its exports remain visual mockups rather than print-ready files.

Business has custom pricing and offers custom projects and limits, custom storage, the same unlimited export types, no watermarks, interactive 3D sharing and priority support. Prospective customers are directed to contact sales. Its custom terms suit businesses needing tailored limits or priority support; the listed features do not change the output limitation.

Platforms

ClozDesign runs on the web, so its described garment editing and review workflow is browser-based. No other platform is identified.

Who it's for

Choose ClozDesign if you need to customize apparel visuals, compare designs on models and share concepts with collaborators or a manufacturer. Pro is the more workable plan for recurring use because it removes project and storage limits and enables exports. Free is best for previewing the workflow within its three-project cap.

It is not the right choice when the core need is print-ready production output, or when a team cannot absorb changes associated with a public beta. Manufacturers should verify production requirements independently.

Pros and cons

Pros

Broad garment coverage: 249 listed models across apparel categories support more than a T-shirt-only workflow.
Combined design and review: Editing, multiple viewing angles, on-model mockups and collection review are brought together in a browser workflow.
Uncapped Pro exports and storage: Pro includes unlimited image, video and GLB exports, unlimited image storage and interactive 3D sharing for 9.90 USD per month, billed monthly.

Cons

Free cannot export: Its three-project and 20 MB storage caps make it a preview tier, not a complete sharing workflow.
Mockups are not production files: Exported visuals are for review and presentation, and print-ready export is not offered.
Beta uncertainty: Features, models, export behavior and availability may change, which can disrupt teams relying on a stable process.
Pro credits are finite: The plan includes 250 monthly AI credits, a limit to account for in AI-heavy workflows.

Alternatives

For more options, browse T-Shirt Design Software.

Pick Kittl if you want a web-based freemium option with a Free plan that includes five projects and 100 one-time AI tokens; its Pro plan is 168.00 USD per year with annual billing. Pick MockupFit if Printful export is important: its free plan includes unlimited garment designs, live preview and mockup downloads, while the paid 200-credit option costs 15.00 USD once.

Screenhance Apparel Mockup Generator is another freemium web and extension option. Choose w3D if you want an iOS option. YupTees is a free web alternative that requires no signup. Printonator offers a free online T-shirt designer with a 10 MB maximum image size and JPG and PNG uploads. Choose YouWear.ai if you want a web design studio with five free credits per new account, where each credit covers one generation or edit and physical products cost extra. Mock It offers a seven-day free trial of its Standard monthly plan, then 11.99 USD per month, with 5,000+ mockups and unlimited mockup creation and downloads.

Verdict

ClozDesign is a sensible choice for apparel designers who need browser-based garment customization and on-model presentation, especially if Pro's unlimited visual exports and interactive sharing match their workflow. Its main reason to choose is the joined-up design and review process across a broad garment library. Look elsewhere if you need print-ready files or a stable, production-critical tool: the exports are mockups, and the product is still in public beta.
