Overview

ChequePro is Windows desktop software that fills in cheque details and prints them onto an existing bank chequebook. It is best suited to individuals and organisations that want cheque printing on one offline device, with higher plans for batch processing or approval controls. Its practical limits are a one-device licence and a free plan capped at three bank accounts and one company.

Key features

Ready-made bank templates can speed setup, while a designer lets users create layouts for banks without a supplied template. Blank-cheque support and layout customisation make it more adaptable than a tool confined to fixed formats; MICR printing is also supported.

ChequePro automatically adds amount-in-words, A/c Payee crossing and other tamper-protection features. These reduce the chance of omitting common safeguards during preparation. Accounting data can be imported from a file, and Business adds batch printing from CSV or Excel—a useful step up for organisations processing larger runs.

The Windows application runs offline and stores data on the user's machine. That suits users who prefer a desktop workflow, but not teams seeking browser access. People Central Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, says it and ChequePro are ISO 27001 certified for information security management. Paid plans include priority email support; Corporate adds a dedicated account manager.

Pricing

The 30-day trial includes features across all plans. Once it ends, paid features deactivate while Free features remain available. Every licence covers one device, so using multiple devices requires separate licences.

Free — 0.00 USD per free, billed Free forever: one device, up to three bank accounts and one company. It covers core cheque printing for individuals and small businesses, but the account and company caps may constrain growth.
Essential — 99.00 USD per once, billed $99 one-time: one device and unlimited bank accounts. It removes the Free account cap, but does not include the business features named for higher tiers.
Business — 199.00 USD per once, billed $199 one-time: one device, batch printing, multi-company and multi-user access with role-based permissions. It is the clearest fit for larger organisations that need shared, repeatable processing, though the single-device licence remains a constraint.
Corporate — 299.00 USD per once, billed $299 one-time: one device, four-eyes authorisation, digital signature and a dedicated account manager. Those controls suit organisations needing an approval step and named support; the plan still does not expand the device allowance.

Platforms

ChequePro is a Windows desktop application. Offline operation and local data storage suit a single-machine workflow, but limit its fit for teams that need access through a browser or across multiple devices.

Who it's for

Choose ChequePro if you print onto existing bank chequebooks, value offline operation and can work within a one-device licence. Free suits modest individual or small-business needs; Business is more appropriate for larger cheque runs or multiple users and companies. Look elsewhere if browser access or multi-device use is essential.

Pros and cons

Pro: Ready-made templates plus a custom designer accommodate both supported bank layouts and banks without a pre-built option.
Pro: Automatic cheque safeguards and MICR support bring useful controls into the printing workflow.
Pro: Business combines CSV or Excel batch printing with multi-company and role-based multi-user support.
Con: Each plan covers one device, so broader deployment requires additional licences.
Con: Free is limited to three bank accounts and one company, while broader organisational controls require paid plans.
Con: Windows-only, offline operation is unsuitable for users who need browser-based access.

Alternatives

Check Printing Software is a category list for comparing check-printing options.

Zil Money is worth considering if you need Android, iOS, web or API platforms rather than ChequePro's Windows desktop approach. Its Free plan has limited monthly transactions; Business offers unlimited transactions.
SimpleChex is a web-based option with a free plan covering one business, unlimited bank accounts, 10 checks per month and one user. That may suit a small browser-based operation, while ChequePro's free plan allows up to three bank accounts and one company.
VersaCheck is a paid alternative with Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows support; consider it if those platform choices matter more than ChequePro's free tier.
CheckWriter is a paid option available on Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows.
TROY AssurePay Check is a paid alternative for web or Windows.
CertiflexDimension Ultra MICR Check Printing is a paid Windows alternative.
CHECKPRINT is a freemium web alternative.
CheckPrintPro is a paid option with a trial and a Hosted plan priced at 9.99 USD per month; its listed plan includes unlimited profiles and check printing, full check history, cloud storage, any-device access and five team members.

Verdict

ChequePro is a strong fit for individuals and organisations that want offline cheque printing, adaptable templates and built-in safeguards on a Windows device. Business is the most compelling tier for larger operations because it adds batch printing and shared, role-based access. Choose another tool if you need web access or multiple devices under one licence.
