Overview

The Core CRM combines event records, leads, customers, invoices, venues, menus and team management. Event tools cover booking timelines, venue and team assignments, conflict detection and PDF exports; lead tracking follows enquiries, follow-ups, conversions and lead sources. Invoices track payments, deposits and overdue reminders. This gives event teams a practical base for coordinating bookings and client work without starting with a paid operations bundle.

BanquetsCRM is modular, not a free all-in-one suite. POS, inventory, HR, hotel, restaurant and communications functions may require paid add-ons or credits. Businesses that need those workflows should weigh the separate charges against the convenience of keeping them alongside the CRM.

Key features

Event, venue and menu coordination

Booking timelines, assignments and conflict detection help teams manage overlapping events and clarify who is responsible for each one. Venue tools support multiple halls and time slots; menus include pricing, dietary options and availability. PDF exports and proposal building add useful tools for preparing and sharing event information. These features suit venues and caterers juggling bookings, but they do not replace specialist operational modules such as POS or inventory.

Leads, invoices and operations

Lead tracking keeps enquiries, follow-ups, conversion outcomes and lead sources together. Payment tracking, deposits and overdue reminders make invoices more useful for managing event revenue than as simple billing records. The platform also supports staff scheduling, order workflows and event execution tools; HR and payroll is a separate paid module, so scheduling should not be mistaken for a complete free workforce package.

Additional modules and safeguards

POS sales can deduct inventory stock automatically, and the POS module connects directly to a kitchen. Inventory adds supplier and low-stock tracking, while hotel and restaurant modules cover their own booking or service workflows. Email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns and reminders use credit-based, pay-as-you-go communications. The maker says data is encrypted in transit, sensitive customer or payment information is restricted by role-based permissions, backups run daily, and the service has a 99.9% uptime SLA. It also describes 24/7 priority support for the core product through chat, email and calls.

Pricing

The Core CRM is 0.00 USD per free, billed Free, Forever, with no credit card required. It includes events, leads, customers, invoices, venues, menus and team management. That is a substantial starting point for operators whose needs remain within CRM and event administration.

Support Tickets: 9.99 USD per month, billed From $9.99/mo, for an internal helpdesk and staff tickets.
POS Terminal: 10.00 USD per month, billed From $10/mo, for point of sale, shifts and receipt printing.
Website Module: 10.00 USD per month, billed From $10/mo, for a public venue website, inquiry forms and online booking.
Inventory Management: 10.00 USD per month, billed From $10/mo, for stock tracking, suppliers and low-stock alerts.
Hotel Management: 15.00 USD per month, billed From $15/mo, for room booking, check-in and checkout, housekeeping and guest folios.
Restaurant Management: 35.00 USD per month, billed From $35/mo, combining POS ($10), Inventory ($10) and Restaurant ($15).
HR & Payroll: 35.00 USD per month, billed From $35/mo, for staff scheduling, attendance and payroll.
Communications: custom pricing, billed pay-as-you-go, with credit-based pricing for email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns.

The paid add-ons make it possible to buy specific capabilities rather than move the whole team to a larger plan. But costs can accumulate if the business needs several modules, and communication charges depend on credit use. A 14-day trial is offered. The maker describes local tax configurations including GST in India and FBR in Pakistan, which may help businesses working with those tax systems.

Platforms

BanquetsCRM runs on the web and supports Android and iOS. Its browser-based mobile optimization suits staff who need mobile access, while the stated platforms give teams options across phones and desktop browsers.

Who it's for

Banquet halls, caterers, decorators, hotels, wedding planners and corporate event teams are the stated audience. It is a particularly sensible fit for smaller operators who want a free CRM foundation and can add a specific module as the business requires it. Businesses that need several paid functions from day one should compare the combined module cost with a more bundled alternative.

Pros and cons

Pros: The free Core CRM includes events, leads, customers, invoices, venues, menus and team management, so a team can begin coordinating bookings without a subscription charge.
Pros: Booking conflict detection, assignments, deposits and overdue reminders address concrete event and payment coordination needs.
Pros: Optional modules cover POS, inventory, hotel, restaurant and HR workflows, letting operators add capabilities relevant to their business.
Cons: The free core does not guarantee free access to POS, inventory, HR, hotel, restaurant or communications; add-ons and credits can raise the total cost.
Cons: Communications is pay-as-you-go and credit-based, so campaign costs depend on use rather than a fixed published monthly price.

Alternatives

Event Catering Software is a useful place to compare more event-catering options. Choose Eventifood if you want a free plan with Pro features and bookkeeping, and can work with its 3.0% platform fee plus Stripe processing; it also supports Linux, macOS and Windows alongside mobile and web.

CartFlow may suit a smaller operation that can work within explicit free-plan caps: three events, 20 sales records, 10 products, three recipes, 15 stock items, one saved venue and three tasks per event. Catertoo is worth considering for up to three monthly events with unlimited users and clients, proposals, e-signatures and a menu builder on its free plan.

SendOrder offers a free Starter plan with food costing, preparation conversion, inventory, recipes, orders and expenses, making it an alternative for teams whose priority is those kitchen and order workflows. OneCatering is a paid option with an Essentials – Catering plan at 159.00 USD per year, billed $159.00 per month, billed annually, and a 1% platform fee on eligible payments processed through OneCatering.

Caterease is a paid alternative with annually billed Enhance modules, each priced at 25.00 USD per month, for options including guest rooms, prospect management, document building, web inquiry and banquet rooms. Catered4 and Pala are also paid, web-based alternatives.

Verdict

Choose BanquetsCRM if you run an event or hospitality business and want event coordination, lead tracking and invoicing in a free core, with the choice to add selected operational modules. Its clearest advantage is that useful booking and customer workflows start without a subscription. Look elsewhere if your business depends on a broad set of POS, inventory, staffing or communication tools and needs a more predictable bundled cost.
