Overview

Amply brings scheduled checklists, recurring standard operating procedures, deadlines and real-time completion tracking into one workflow. That makes it a fit for operators who need to assign work and see whether it was completed, rather than rely on disconnected store-level routines. Audit checklists, proof of completion and approval workflows extend that coordination beyond routine tasks.

Area managers can conduct digital audits and create scored visual reports to identify gaps. Amply also describes Image AI that can detect non-compliant displays and score merchandising setups across stores, a useful focus for chains where presentation standards matter. Its role-based views and region-level permissions help separate access by responsibility, while the Document Wallet provides searchable documents with role-based access.

Key features

Tasks and SOPs: Scheduled checklists, recurring SOPs, deadlines and live completion tracking give managers a view of work as it progresses. The no-code SOP builder on Starter lowers the barrier to structuring repeatable procedures.
Audits and merchandising: Digital audits and scored visual reports help area managers spot operational gaps. Image AI adds a way to flag display non-compliance, though the product’s stated scope is focused on visual merchandising rather than general image analysis.
Communication and approvals: Frontline messaging, a communication feed and broadcast tools support store-to-team coordination; approval workflows add a route for decisions that should not be left to informal messages.
Documents and access: The searchable document repository and role-based access suit organizations that need staff to find operational materials without giving every user identical access.
Integrations: Amply’s integrations include Jira, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and Power BI, potentially connecting store operations with broader business workflows.
Mobile and rollout: Starter includes a mobile app with offline mode. Amply also offers templates, guided rollout and training for administrators and store staff, plus email and call support with dedicated onboarding help.

Pricing

Amply uses a freemium model. Starter costs 0.00 USD per free and covers up to two stores, with a communication feed, task scheduler, no-code SOP builder and mobile app with offline mode. That cap makes it a reasonable starting point for a small operation or a limited rollout, but it is a hard boundary for a larger chain.

Growth costs $39 per store per month, billed at $ 39 / STORE / MONTH. It adds broadcast, a store license wallet, document library, ticketing system and email notifications. The per-store basis means costs rise with the footprint, so operators should compare the added capabilities with the number of locations they need to cover.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes custom workflows, security, integrations, a dedicated account manager and training sessions. It is the tier to consider when a multi-location organization needs tailored workflows and account-level support. Starter and Growth provide clearer entry points, while Enterprise requires a custom quote.

Platforms

Amply is available on Android, iOS and the web. Offline mode is included in Starter’s mobile app, which can help store teams continue using it when connectivity is unavailable.

Who it's for

Amply is best suited to retail chains, restaurants and hospitality groups that need to coordinate repeatable tasks, verify execution and maintain standards across stores. Area managers who conduct audits and operators who care about merchandising compliance have particularly relevant tools. A business with no more than two stores can start on Starter; a broader footprint should assess Growth’s per-store pricing or seek an Enterprise quote for custom workflows. It is less compelling for a buyer looking only for a narrow tool such as label design.

Pros and cons

Pro: Task schedules, recurring SOPs, completion tracking, audits and approvals address several connected store-operations needs in one platform.
Pro: Starter includes offline mobile access and supports up to two stores, giving small operators a no-cost entry point.
Pro: Role-based views, region-level permissions and document access controls support operations divided across teams and regions.
Con: Starter stops at two stores, so it cannot serve a larger network without moving to a paid plan.
Con: Growth is priced per store per month, making the total depend directly on location count.
Con: Enterprise requires custom pricing, so buyers seeking a published price for tailored workflows will need to request one.

Alternatives

Retail Store Operations Software is the broader category to browse when you want to compare store-operations options beyond Amply.

ZebraDesigner is a better fit if the need is barcode label and tag design and printing: its free Essentials 3 plan supports Zebra Link-OS and Link-OS Basic printers.
AssignRight is another freemium web option for buyers comparing task-oriented software.
Movista is a paid alternative available on Android, iOS and the web, with an API platform also listed.
Wooqer may suit buyers who want pricing tailored to their number of locations and workflows.
YOOBIC is a paid alternative available on Android, iOS and the web.
OPSCENTER is a paid option available on web, iOS and Android.
Proceso is a paid alternative available on web, Android and iOS.
Field2Base is worth considering for form-led work: its Essentials plan costs 20.00 USD per month, billed $20 per license per month with a five-license minimum, and includes unlimited form templates and submissions plus photos, GPS, barcodes and signatures.

Verdict

Amply is a strong match for retail, restaurant and hospitality operators that want tasks, audits, communication and approvals coordinated across locations, with offline mobile access and tools for visual standards. Choose it if that breadth is more valuable than a single-purpose tool and the per-store Growth cost fits the network. Look elsewhere if the two-store free cap is too restrictive and Growth’s location-based pricing or Enterprise’s custom quote does not suit the budget.
