Xfinity Email

What Xfinity Email is
Xfinity Email provides access to an existing Comcast.net email account through the web and supported mobile and desktop platforms. New Xfinity Email accounts cannot be created since June 2024, but existing accounts remain accessible by signing in with an Xfinity ID and password. The service is free and supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows, and web access. Webmail includes folders, message search, sorting, and threaded conversation views. Users can create up to three signatures, set an automatic reply, save contacts, and maintain group contact lists. Access through Outlook, Google, Apple Mail, and Thunderbird can be enabled or disabled in email security settings. Comcast says reputation services and automated filtering detect spam, phishing, and malware, with certain risky attachment types blocked. Third-party clients require authentication and encrypted ports. Residential customers can send to at most 100 recipients per message and 1,000 recipients per day; messages are limited to 25 MB. Accounts must be accessed at least once every 24 months, or they are closed after a 90-day notification window. Former customers can keep an account if they signed in through the website within 90 days before disconnecting service.
