What Mail.ru is
Mail.ru is an email service with a browser inbox and mobile apps for Android and iOS. Its free plan costs nothing and includes 8 GB of shared Mail and Cloud space. New addresses can use @mail.ru, @list.ru, @bk.ru, @internet.ru, or @inbox.ru domains. Mail supports scheduled sending, undoing messages, translation, link sharing, forwarding, templates, filters, and smart sorting into categories such as newsletters, receipts, study, and games. Messages can go to up to 30 recipients. Attachments can total 200 MB without a subscription; files over 25 MB are uploaded to Cloud as links. Mail Space subscriptions add storage, ad-free use, unlimited photo and video auto-upload, and sending files up to 100 GB. Security features include leak monitoring, suspicious-login checks, alerts, anti-spam, Dr.Web scanning, and unsafe-link warnings. A collector can bring in other inboxes, while IMAP supports replies from original addresses.
