Wavelet
What Wavelet is
Wavelet is an Android system-wide equalizer for adjusting headphone sound. It offers more than 5,000 precalculated AutoEq compensation profiles and a graphic equalizer with nine independently adjustable bands. Other tools include equal loudness, bass tuner, virtualizer, reverberation, attenuator, limiter, and left-right balance. Users can import custom AutoEq data, with AutoEq.app and Squig.link listed as places to create it. Listed compatible players include YouTube Music, Spotify, Plexamp, Samsung Music, and VLC for Android, although some require extra setup. TIDAL, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, YouTube, and other players are listed as lacking audio-processing support. Bass boost is limited to Android 9; experimental enhanced session detection is for Android 10 and later. The free plan costs nothing; some features require an in-app purchase or subscription. The license is for personal, non-commercial use. The privacy policy says accessed data is not shared or retained, though Google Play or Huawei providers may handle anonymized statistics and crash logs.
