What WAPT is

WAPT is software for deploying, updating and removing software and configurations across Windows, Linux and macOS devices. Administrators can manage deployments from a central server with a graphical console, schedule deployments and reboots, and support offline devices and third-party app patching. WAPT Enterprise adds hardware, software and WAPT-package inventory with SQL-based reporting exports. It also lets administrators select Windows updates, their deployment timing and the devices that receive them. Its customizable Self Service gives users or Active Directory groups the ability to install, update or uninstall authorized software. PeerCache lets workstations share packages directly, reducing bandwidth use and helping deployments at remote sites. Enterprise connects to Active Directory and supports administrator authentication through Active Directory, LDAP and personal certificates. WAPT has a free plan and a 30-day Enterprise trial, limited to 20 workstations. When the trial ends, the console switches to a limited version unless an Enterprise contract is subscribed. WAPT was created in 2012 by Tranquil IT, a company founded in 2002. It is used by companies, schools, universities, research laboratories, governments and hospitals.
