Vocaluxe

What Vocaluxe is

Vocaluxe is a free, open source singing game for groups of up to six. Players sing into microphones and earn points based on pitch and rhythm, using songs in the UltraStar format. It includes challenge and Tic-Tac-Toe party modes, along with duets where singers follow different notes and medleys that shorten song selections. Players can create tracks, build profiles with pictures, and appear on high-score lists. Webcams can take profile pictures, and lyrics can be shown across multiple screens. Controls include keyboard, mouse, gamepads, WiiMotes, and smartphone control. Vocaluxe has a free plan at no cost, with no free trial. Portable versions are provided for releases. The listed platforms are Linux, web, and Windows, though Linux users must compile the game themselves and its maker says Linux is not officially supported. The project wiki says there are currently no active developers; the maker points players to Discord and its GitHub wiki for help.
