Vidferry is a paid desktop downloader from UnveelWorks for macOS and Windows. It saves videos from links and supports YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Vimeo, Reddit, SoundCloud, and more than 1,000 other sites. Users can choose video quality from 480p to the best available option, or extract audio as MP3 or M4A; MP4 is also supported. Transcripts and subtitles can be saved as SRT or plain text, embedded in videos, or downloaded separately. Playlist and batch downloads are available, with pause and resume controls and a download stash. Vidferry can use local browser cookies for age-restricted or members-only videos already viewable in the browser. The maker says processing stays on the user’s device without telemetry, accounts, or uploads, while cookies remain local. It handles public videos but does not bypass paywalls or access truly private content. The app sets up its requirements on first launch. The listed license is 12.00 USD per month, billed once with no subscription, for two devices.
Who it is for
