What VidBlasterX is

VidBlasterX is Windows video-production software for projects from single-camera recording to multi-camera television broadcasts in 4K. Its modules combine a vision mixer and video router with scalers, time-base correctors, frame synchronisers, IP video encoders and decoders, multiview, players, recorders, keyers, effects, and audio support. Users arrange modules and save positions and settings as profiles. IP Output supports Facebook, Multicast, RTMP, SRT Caller, and SRT Listener; documentation also names YouTube. NDI input works with compatible local-network sources, and the software can publish audio and video as an NDI source. Macros or a TCP Server can use the API for remote control. VidBlasterX uses multi-core CPUs, needs no GPU, and can run on standard non-GPU cloud instances. Studio supports up to 25 modules per profile, Broadcast up to 100, and Broadcast 4K 100 or more. Editions output up to 1080p, while Broadcast 4K adds UHD and 4K. The trial is free and watermarks all output channels.

Verdict

VidBlasterX offers a modular Windows production environment with streaming, NDI, remote control, and cloud-friendly CPU operation. The trial enables evaluation but adds a watermark, and 4K output requires the Broadcast 4K edition.
