Stable downloads include an AppImage for Linux; Windows 7+ 32-bit and Windows 10+ 64-bit packages; and macOS 10.15+ Intel, macOS 11+ Apple Silicon, and macOS 12+ Universal packages. Basic includes current binaries, while the Free plan does not, so the free option is not a current prebuilt-download plan.

Who it's for

Valentina makes the most sense for independent patternmakers, students, and clothing businesses that need 2D patterns to adapt to measurements and grading rules, and that value open-source software with permission for commercial work. It is not the right choice for users who require 3D garment simulation, textile design tools, or tech-pack creation, none of which it provides.
