What Typesy is

Typesy is a keyboarding program that combines typing instruction, computer skills, and workplace productivity training. It offers versions for individuals, homeschool families, schools, and business teams. Individual learning includes video instruction, structured exercises, games, progress tracking, and typing goals. Typesy says lessons adjust to each learner’s progress, goals, and skill level, and individual subscriptions include a typing certificate plus an employer verification service. Schools can organize accounts through Google Classroom, Clever, Classlink, or Canvas, or import students from CSV. Team subscriptions include unlimited phone support for teachers and administrators and concierge setup service. Typesy lists Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows access, but downloaded apps are for existing users; iPad and Android apps require a physical keyboard. There is no free plan, and the pricing note lists a 7-day trial from $6/mo (annual). Typesy for Teams requires at least five users. Homeschool plans provide different parent and student account combinations and include up to 4,000 cross-curricular lessons.
