Tree Style Tab

What Tree Style Tab is
Tree Style Tab is a free Firefox extension that arranges tabs in expandable trees. A tab opened from the current tab automatically becomes its child, creating a visual browsing history and grouping related pages. Branches can be collapsed, and tabs can be moved by dragging and dropping. Press F1 or use the toolbar button to toggle the sidebar. The extension supports the latest official Firefox releases, including regular Firefox and ESR. It offers a public API for extensions that need to work with tab trees and the sidebar, and helper extensions cover tasks such as multi-tab selection, automatic grouping, bookmarks and collapsed trees. The project says session management and search are outside its built-in scope. It does not automatically collect privacy data, although Firefox Sync may send option data and URLs of tabs sent to other devices to Mozilla’s Sync server. Required permissions include browser-tab and recently closed-tab access and notification display.
Who it suits
