Tailr

What Tailr is

Tailr is a web app for adapting a resume to a specific job opening. Import a resume document, then paste a job posting link or its text. Tailr matches the resume to the role and suggests rewrites aimed at applicant tracking systems. You review and approve each rewrite before anything is exported, so the final document reflects changes you accept. The service has six resume templates and exports a one-page, single-column PDF with selectable text, designed for ATS parsing in systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo and iCIMS. A customer testimonial mentions DOCX export.

A free account includes Managed AI and allows 10 tailored resumes per day. Go costs $2.99 per month, billed every 28 days, and allows 20 per day, up to 500 per cycle. Pro costs $6.99 per month, billed every 28 days, and allows 50 per day, up to 1,100 per cycle. Daily caps reset at midnight UTC. BYOK costs $20.00 per year and lets users connect a supported key, including from OpenAI, Claude or Gemini, with a 60-resume daily limit. Tailr says it does not sell resume data or train AI models on resumes. The sign-in, job input, review and export process usually takes under three minutes.

Who it suits

Tailr suits job seekers who want to adjust a resume for each opening and check proposed edits before exporting. It may also fit career coaches, bootcamps and recruiting teams, for which custom pricing is available.
