The record

What it does: Spamex provides disposable email addresses that forward messages to a user's real email address, helping keep that address private.
Turn off addresses: Users can turn off an address to stop receiving mail through it, and can use different addresses to identify where unwanted email originated.
Reply protection: When users reply through the service, the recipient sees the disposable address as the From address and the service rewrites the message header.
Account notes: Users can store information such as usernames and passwords with each disposable address they create.
Address controls: Addresses can be set to expire after a specified number of days or received messages, and can use blacklist or whitelist filtering modes.
Personal domains: Paying Level 2 and Level 3 subscribers can use personal domains after verifying domain control and configuring DNS records.
Platforms: The service is browser based; the maker lists Internet Explorer and Firefox plugins and says Chrome is coming soon on its Getting Started page.
Service limit: A disposable email address can forward to only one real email address at a time.
Security caveat: The maker says a real address may be revealed if a user forwards a received message or uses reply all outside the service.
Support: Spamex directs users to report service problems to [email protected].
Intended users: The maker describes Spamex as a disposable email service for individuals and companies.
Headquarters: New York, New York, United States
