What Sound Stock Vault is
Sound Stock Vault is a web-based library of royalty-free music, sound effects, loops and samples. Sound Stock describes more than 11,000,000 library items, while its catalog is also listed as 5,025,700 sounds. Visitors can browse and preview audio before signing up, with searchable descriptive names, instant previews, interactive waveforms, BPM information and tempo-aware playback. Listed plans provide unlimited downloads and include commercial use. The licensing page permits audio in online content, films and ads, games and apps, corporate materials, and educational or nonprofit projects. It prohibits reselling or redistributing audio as standalone assets and using it to train AI or machine-learning models. When a subscription lapses, audio can remain in projects already completed, but cannot be added to new projects until renewal or a license purchase. The terms describe a catalog made with legally released third-party generative tools and human-directed curation. There is no free plan, though a free trial is available. The annual option is listed at $3.99 a month, billed annually, or $47.88.
