Songzap

What Songzap is

Songzap is a mobile songwriting and music pre-production app for musicians, singers, instrumentalists, songwriters, and MCs. Its Tracking feature records vocals and instruments with a phone microphone, and supports importing and bouncing audio. The free plan provides four-track linear recording, an arrangement editor, an AI Beats Designer, and a mixer with pan and reverb. Users can work on up to five songs at once. Songzap V3 applies real-time AI to isolate a new performance from playback bleed during headphone-free recording. Autozap analyzes recordings and creates accompaniment parts such as drums, bass, and keys. Premium adds a four-track loop recorder for layered phrases, imported loops, Pre-Roll, and Live modes, plus AI bass and pad or keys composers. Its mixer adds compression and EQ. Premium also includes MIDI export, cloud backup and sync, headphone-free recording, and concurrent editing of up to 100 songs. Users can export a mixed audio file; the export guide also covers recordings, MIDI, lyrics, notes, and arrangement data. Premium archives and MIDI exports support moving song assets into a DAW or studio for further work. Songzap offers in-app tutorials and an assistant, alongside an online guide, videos, a course, and teachers’ resources. The maker is RT Sixty Limited, operating as RT60, founded in 2008 and based in London. The App Store describes the app as designed for iPhone and not verified for macOS.
