Simple Repeat

What Simple Repeat is

Simple Repeat is a free web library of seamless patterns and small decorative images for use in artwork, websites, and other projects. Its collection includes polka dots, grids, lines, washi tape strips, shapes, icons, and more. Textures are available in JPG and PNG formats. Save an image by right-clicking or long-pressing and choosing the save image command; some items also have a download button. You can modify the textures for your work and use them commercially or non-commercially. However, the terms prohibit selling or redistributing them as materials or as a texture pack, whether altered or unchanged, and direct links to the textures are not allowed. The free plan is listed as free. The site’s creator, Ima, is based in Japan and makes illustrations and custom content for PC games, mainly 3D model textures. The site says it has been available since 2016. It uses Google Analytics and cookies; browser settings can be used to review, remove, or block cookies. Support is available through a mail form, and the creator understands simple English.

Who it suits

It suits people looking for reusable decorative textures for websites or artwork, including commercial projects. Users should be comfortable saving files from a web page and following the restrictions on redistribution and direct linking.

Limits

The free plan permits project use but does not permit redistributing or selling textures as materials or texture packs. Direct linking to the site’s textures is also prohibited.
