Royal Mail AddressNow Capture
What Royal Mail AddressNow Capture is
Royal Mail AddressNow Capture validates customer addresses online, face to face, and by phone. It checks entries against PAF and covers 29.5 million UK addresses; Royal Mail says delivery staff add an average of 5,000 address updates daily. The service is intended for online forms, ecommerce, point-of-sale systems, and call management. Royal Mail says address capture can reduce form fields, failed deliveries, and wasted marketing while improving customer experience. A copy-and-paste HTML snippet can add it to a website, app, or business system, and API access, autocomplete, and standardization are available. Setup guidance recommends restricting keys to valid URLs and optionally limiting daily look-ups by key or IP address. The 30-day trial includes full access and 50 free look-ups per day. Pay-as-you-go packs start at 60.00 GBP for 1,000 look-ups; prices exclude 20% VAT and unused credit expires after 12 months.
