The record

Purpose: OpenForge is an open-source trainer for offline single-player PC games that can modify in-game currency, health, movement, and unlocks.
Game support: The repository lists LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight with 26 features and 007 First Light with 6 features.
Config-driven cheats: Cheats are declarative TOML or RON signatures interpreted at runtime, and adding a game is described as adding a folder rather than recompiling each cheat.
Reflection: For reflection-capable engines, an injected DLL exposes the game's object graph over a named pipe.
Hotkeys: Per-feature global hotkeys can fire while the trainer is minimized and include conflict detection.
Local operation: The project says it has no telemetry and no cloud services.
Security: The project describes its webview as hardened, with strict content security policy, deny-by-default Tauri permissions, and developer tools gated behind a build feature.
License: OpenForge is MIT licensed.
Windows requirement: The latest release requires 64-bit Windows 10 or later and administrator privileges.
Installation: The latest release can be downloaded as a zip or as the executable and game-specific DLLs placed together in one folder.
Scope limit: OpenForge is for offline single-player games; the project says it does not support or accept contributions for anti-cheat-protected games.
Risk: The project warns that trainers modify process memory, rare crashes can occur, and users should back up saves before progression cheats.
Cheat format: Cheats are declarative TOML or RON configuration signatures that the engine turns into reads, writes, freezes, and code patches.
Engine reflection: For reflection-capable engines, an injected DLL exposes the game's object graph over a named pipe.
