Noise-o-matic is a Windows soundboard for gamers that plays sounds through a microphone. Users can trigger audio with a mouse or hotkeys, search by text or tags, and play multiple sounds on different channels. Steam Workshop supports uploading, browsing, rating and downloading sounds. The app can record from a microphone or another PC input stream, then edit recordings to remove unwanted sections. Its real-time voice changer alters microphone audio, with pitch changes and filters listed. Text-to-speech options include Microsoft text-to-speech and Sherpa TTS. Microsoft Speech to Text can transcribe microphone speech and send the result to text-to-speech or voice-cloner text-to-speech. Voice cloning and ElevenLabs text-to-speech require an ElevenLabs account and may involve third-party charges. Noise-o-matic costs 7.99 USD per once and offers a free trial, but no free plan. It supports 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11, with Windows 10 as the minimum requirement and Windows 11 recommended. A microphone, sound card and output device are required; first launch needs administrator privileges for a one-time setup.
