Miniagen
What Miniagen is
Miniagen is a web-based AI tool for creating thumbnail concepts for YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and other social formats. You can begin with a YouTube video URL, a text prompt, or an existing thumbnail. It creates several variations for refinement, with controls for text, styles, colors, layouts, backgrounds, and facial expressions. An avatar can be created once and reused across generations to keep visuals recognizable and on-brand. The home page says thumbnails can be exported in 4K. Miniagen offers a free trial and one free thumbnail without requiring a credit card, but it has no free plan. Paid plans are billed yearly: Starter costs $4.74 per month, Pro $17.40, and Business $35.40. Monthly thumbnail allowances run from 10 to unlimited, with avatar limits and generation-speed differences. Intended users include YouTubers, agencies, brands, short-form creators, content creators, and teams.
