What Metareal Stage is

Metareal Stage turns 360 panoramas and 3D renders into virtual tours, 3D models, and floorplans. Users can upload panoramas and build rooms, tours, models, and floorplans in a browser. Metareal says the tool works with almost any 360 camera or DSLR, or with a phone and rotator. Users can also have Metareal Certified Artists build tours from uploaded panoramas. Published tours are mobile-friendly, WebVR-enabled, and shareable as links or embeddable on websites. Stage imports 3D renders from applications such as Revit, 3ds Max, and SketchUp. Its Player SDK lets web applications embed tours and interact programmatically with tour data and player events. A free plan is available. Professional costs C$4 a month, billed per month, and Premium costs C$30 a month, billed per month. Metareal was founded in 2015 and describes its content suite as serving photographers and designers creating interactive 3D experiences without developers.

Limits

Creator allows one live virtual tour and Google Street View publishing for up to 15 panoramas per project. Built For You processing does not include tour hosting, website embedding, Google Street View publishing, or image enhancement.

Getting started

1. Open the Metareal website.
2. Use the browser editor to upload panoramas or import 3D renders.
3. Create rooms, tours, models, or floorplans from the uploaded material.
4. Alternatively, submit panoramas for Metareal Certified Artists to build the tour.
5. Choose a plan for the live-tour capacity and features you need.
6. Publish a tour as a web link or embed it in a website.
