Markdown Monster
What Markdown Monster is
Markdown Monster is a paid Markdown editor for Windows that works with local files and exports documents to HTML or PDF. Its publishing workflow is categorized as CMS, and it uses a custom Markdown flavor. Cloud sync is not supported, so documents remain part of a local-file workflow. The maker, Markdown Monster, was founded in 2015. There is no free plan, although an Evaluation plan with evaluation notices is listed. Licensing includes a Single User option at $99 a month, billed as a perpetual license for version 4 for one user. Other plans cover a lifetime single-user license, upgrades for previous-version single-user licenses, 5-, 10- and 25-user licenses, and a site license. The Site License costs $5,999 a month and covers unlimited users at one commercial, nonprofit or government organization, with a 5-year free upgrade guarantee. A multi-user runtime license upgrade is also listed. These choices provide individual, team and organization licensing for Windows users.

Verdict
Markdown Monster focuses on Windows-based local Markdown editing with HTML and PDF output. Buyers should match the license type and seat count to their use because cloud sync is absent.
