Manifest

What Manifest is
Manifest is an open-source LLM gateway for routing model requests, handling provider failures, and tracking inference spending. It offers one endpoint compatible with OpenAI and Anthropic for models and subscriptions. If a provider goes down, Manifest can retry through another provider; Autofix repairs malformed requests and resends them when retries alone do not resolve the problem. Its observability tools show spending by harness, which models served requests, and what failed.
Manifest can connect API keys, paid subscriptions, local models, and custom endpoints, including Ollama, llama.cpp, and LM Studio. The self-hosted gateway runs with Docker, works offline, requires no account, and supports amd64 and arm64. Its Free plan includes 10,000 routed requests per calendar month on Cloud and unlimited self-hosted use. Cloud Free cannot reach local models on the user's machine. Pro costs $19 a month and includes unlimited routed requests on Manifest Cloud. Self-hosted routing and request data stay on customer servers except for documented telemetry and Autofix flows.
Who it suits
Manifest suits AI builders, teams, startups, and platforms or providers managing agent and workflow inference. Self-hosting may suit users who need offline operation or want routing and request data to remain on their servers, subject to documented exceptions.
What it does well
- One endpoint compatible with OpenAI and Anthropic
- Retries through another provider when one goes down
- Autofix repairs and resends malformed requests

- Free plan includes unlimited self-hosted use
What to know first
- Cloud Free is limited to 10,000 requests monthly

Verdict
Manifest offers both cloud and self-hosted gateway options, with routing, fallback, repair, and spending visibility. The Cloud Free request cap and inability to reach local machine models are important constraints for cloud users.
