MailTag
What MailTag is
MailTag assigns incoming messages to categories in an email inbox you already use. It lists support for Gmail, Google Workspace, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, and IMAP inboxes. Users can start with MailTag’s categories or describe their own in one line; the service checks for new mail every five minutes and can label existing messages in one go without deleting them. Users can review senders and domains, unsubscribe, archive, or apply a label rule, with confirmation and undo available. MailTag says email is processed in memory on its own hardware in Germany, is not sent to outside services, and is not stored as content. App passwords are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Paid plans provide per-category webhooks compatible with Slack, Discord, Zapier, Make, and n8n; Business adds an HTTP Triage API. The Free plan costs nothing and includes one mailbox and 100 labeled emails a month. Solo is $6.59 a year, Pro is $14.08 a year, and Business is $36.58 a year. The site offers seven days of Pro without a card, after which accounts move to Free unless a paid plan is selected. Outlook.com and most Microsoft 365 tenants are not currently supported, and MailTag cannot send or delete email.
