Instead of LibertyBans

LibertyBans alternatives

LibertyBans gives Minecraft administrators a free punishment system for single servers and larger networks. It handles bans, IP bans, mutes, warnings, kicks, temporary punishments and removals, while configurable templates and exemptions control durations, reasons and staff authority. Suspected alternate accounts can trigger IP bans and staff notifications. Support spans Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Purpur, Folia, BungeeCord, Waterfall, Fabric, Sponge and Velocity, with local HyperSQL or remote MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL storage. Multiple proxies and instances can synchronize, and a developer API supports other plugins.

That broad scope comes with requirements and limits worth weighing. LibertyBans needs Java 17, and Velocity proxy mutes require SignedVelocity on proxy and backend servers. It is self-hosted and focused on punishment administration rather than a browser-based moderation suite or specialized investigation and anticheat tooling. When switching, compare required Paper or proxy versions, Java requirements, network coordination, storage, staff workflows and the actions your team needs. Some alternatives narrow the platform range or punishment coverage, but add report queues, investigation views, anticheat checks, staff utilities or a web interface.
