The record

Purpose: Jirafeau is open-source one-click file sharing: upload a file and share its link.
Sharing links: Each upload creates a download link and a delete link.
Large uploads: The project says its HTML5 file API allows large uploads without PHP's post_max_size limit, though server and configuration limits may still apply.
File controls: Uploads can have password protection, an expiration time, and an option to self-destruct after the first download.
Previews: Jirafeau can preview file content in the browser when possible.
Storage: It requires no database and can deduplicate identical files to save storage when that option is enabled.
Encryption: Optional server-side encryption uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 and requires the PHP Sodium module; the project says it is not end-to-end encryption.
Administration: The project includes a small administration interface and CLI commands to clean expired files.
API and scripting: Jirafeau provides a basic API and a Bash script for file uploads and downloads from the command line.
Access restrictions: Upload access can be restricted by password or an authorized IP list in CIDR notation.
Deployment: The project supports installation on a web server or use of a Docker image; listed requirements include PHP 7.4 or later.
Security guidance: The project recommends protecting the storage directory from direct access and serving the site over HTTPS.
Support: The project directs users who find a bug to create an issue.
