What Flussonic is
Flussonic Media Server is paid software for capturing, processing, recording, protecting and delivering video. It supports multistreaming, prerecorded streams and custom RTMP destinations, with delivery through HLS, DASH, WebRTC, MPEG-TS and other protocols. Multi-bitrate streaming can use NVIDIA or Intel QuickSync acceleration and H.264, H.265 or AV1 codecs. DVR tools provide archive recording, timeshift, multi-protocol archive access and storage on local systems, NAS or S3. Protection options include token authentication, geographic access controls and DRM for Widevine, FairPlay and PlayReady. Management and monitoring are available through an HTTP API, real-time HTTP events and OpenAPI. Deployments can use Ubuntu Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or cloud environments on AWS, GCP or Azure. The product page describes one stream to 3,000 streams per server and up to 30,000 simultaneous viewers. Security controls include read-only and full-access credentials, hashed passwords and IP or port restrictions for the administration interface. A trial licence can be requested. Pricing starts at $100.
