DRKSpiderJava Free Open source; Java SE virtual machine required drk.com.ar · 4 Oct 2026

Purpose: DRKSpiderJava crawls websites to find broken links and inspect site structure.
Crawl controls: Crawling can be limited by external links, a user-set maximum depth, URL exclusions, and an optional robots.txt setting.
Exports: It can export sitemaps, all links, and broken links as XML, plain text, or CSV files.
Search: Its link search filters by tag, URL, anchor text, nofollow, internal or external status, and error status; node search filters page metadata.
Thread limit: The crawler supports 1 to 15 threads, and the maker notes that three or more threads may be aggressive toward the target server.
SEO analysis: It provides basic title, description, and keyword matching against page content, but does not detect over-optimization and is not intended as an SEO tool.
Additional features: Features include saving a crawl tree for later loading and rechecking, regex-enabled search, redirection handling, cookies, and basic HTTP authentication.
Platforms: The maker says it runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and other platforms supporting a Java SE virtual machine.
Downloads: The page lists ZIP and TAR.GZ binary packages and a source archive, all dated March 7, 2015.
Support status: The maker says professional work reduced its ability to maintain projects, resulting in few to no updates.
Company identity: The About page identifies Leandro Fernandez as the person behind drkbugs and says the site began in 2002 as DRK Software.
