Clipstill

What Clipstill is

Clipstill is a web-based library for studying user-generated content (UGC) videos, alongside a collection of downloadable cinemagraphs. Its UGC swipe files explain how each video opens, how it is structured, what the creator says, and how the material can be adapted into a script or framework. The library has more than 40 examples, with additions each week. Examples include product comparisons, unboxings, problem-and-solution videos, before-and-after transformations, and lifestyle demonstrations. The membership is intended for UGC creators, brands, and small businesses that want examples for their own content or to use when briefing creators.

UGC Library Monthly costs $19 a month, while UGC Library Annual costs $190 a year. Both plans include the full UGC library and weekly new swipe files, and either can be cancelled at any time. Clipstill also offers free cinemagraph downloads in SD and HD, with HD files available at 1920 x 1080. Attribution to Clipstill is required for free downloads. The Standard License allows business, personal, educational, and charitable use. Mass-distribution products may require an Extended License, and the license restricts certain identity, unlawful, infringing, and redistribution uses.

Who it suits

Clipstill suits UGC creators, brands, and small businesses looking for video examples to inform content or creator briefs. It also serves people seeking cinemagraph downloads for personal or commercial projects, provided they follow the applicable license terms.

Limits

The free cinemagraph downloads require attribution to Clipstill. Mass-distribution products may require an Extended License; the Standard License also restricts identity uses that may gain trademark or copyright protection, unlawful or defamatory uses, infringement, and redistribution or resale as a cinemagraph.
