What CaseFlow is
CaseFlow is web-based law firm practice management software for clients, matters, billing, trust accounting, documents, time tracking, and team coordination. Matter records can hold deadlines, documents, assigned staff, tasks, and notes. It supports IOLTA trust accounts with ledger history, deposits, disbursements, and reconciliation. Clients on Firm Growth and higher plans can use a portal to view invoices and sign documents. CaseFlow Intelligence can summarize firm records, draft text, and answer questions using those records, with a person reviewing and approving its work. It does not provide legal advice, research case law, draft or file court documents, decide conflicts, or move trust funds. Documentation lists Google Calendar sync on Firm Growth and Outlook sync on Multi-Practice. All plans include two-factor authentication, GDPR tools, encrypted sessions, per-tenant data isolation, and a tamper-evident audit log. CaseFlow says connections use HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher, passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and trust documents receive additional encryption. Plans cost $49 a month for Solo Practitioner, $69 a month for Firm Growth, and $99 a month for Multi-Practice. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial is available.
