Bubble

What Bubble is
Bubble is a web and iPhone email client that turns an existing Gmail mailbox into people-focused conversations. It displays real Gmail threads chronologically, collapses quoted history and signatures, and keeps the complete original message available. Before sending replies or reply-all messages, it shows the recipients. Bubble supports Gmail only; Microsoft, iCloud, Yahoo, and generic IMAP are not enabled. Gmail content is requested directly from Google’s Gmail API on the device, and Bubble says it does not copy mailbox content to a Bubble-operated server. The app uses HTTPS/TLS for Google sign-in and Gmail API requests, while iPhone credentials are stored in Apple’s device-only Keychain. Remote images, tracking pixels, scripts, forms, iframes, and active HTML are blocked by default. Bubble says it does not sell Gmail data, use it for advertising, or train AI models with it. Offline access is available, with cache and attachment limits varying by plan. Free allows one Gmail account; Bubble Plus costs $2.99 a month, and a lifetime option is listed at $49.99 a month.

Verdict
Bubble offers a Gmail-focused conversation view with offline support and device-side message handling. Its provider support, cache limits, and non-guaranteed notifications define the practical boundaries.
