What Beacon is

Beacon is SystemPath’s cloud-based platform for managing food safety programs across food manufacturers, restaurants, and co-packers. Its modules cover food safety, quality and improvement, operations, document control, supply chain, production and inventory, label compliance, audits, and Audit-Ready AI. The platform supports lot and batch tracking, product genealogy, recall management, supply-chain events, and end-to-end traceability. Digital forms, checklists, and monitoring tasks are designed for tablets and phones on the plant floor, and multi-facility packages serve organizations managing several sites.

Beacon AI can search facility documents, cite SQF requirements, draft SOPs, and create tasks or follow-ups through conversation. Its changes to tenant records are recorded in an append-only evidence trail that includes the model, sources read, actions taken, and human review. AI drafts require human signatures for hazard classifications, product releases, and supplier approvals. SystemPath says Beacon encrypts data in transit and at rest, uses role-based access controls and tenant-level isolation, and does not use tenant data to train shared models. Connection options include QuickBooks Online import, webhooks, a REST API, read-only MCP, and SAML SSO. Pricing is by custom proposal, with software, consulting, and training bundled together.
