AION 2’s global free-to-play launch is scheduled for October 5, 2026. AION2 Hub reports that servers open at 13:00 UTC that day. The paid Founder’s Pack Early Access window is reported to begin September 30 at 13:00 UTC, five days earlier. The date appears on the official AION 2 global site; the precise hours come from specialist reporting and should be checked against the live storefront or latest NC notice before relying on them.
When does AION 2 launch globally?
The official AION 2 global site lists October 5, 2026 as the global launch date. AION2 Hub reports a 13:00 UTC server opening on October 5. Converted to local times, that is 6:00 AM PDT, 9:00 AM EDT, 10:00 AM BRT, 2:00 PM BST, 3:00 PM CEST, 4:00 PM EEST, and 10:00 PM JST. These conversions reflect the time-zone offsets in effect on that date.
The exact hour is less directly established than the date: the specialist report says NC confirmed 13:00 UTC and cites Steam’s release record and an NC announcement. The official global site establishes the date, but readers should check the current Steam listing or NC notice for any last-minute change. The site also lists a Japanese-language special broadcast at 8:00 PM JST on Sunday, October 4; that is a broadcast, not the server-opening time.
When does Founder’s Pack Early Access begin?
AION2 Hub reports that Founder’s Pack Advanced Access starts September 30, 2026 at 13:00 UTC and lasts five days, ahead of the October 5 global opening. A Founder’s Pack is required for that reported early-access window. If you are planning around the hour, confirm it in the current storefront or NC announcement, since the precise time is sourced to secondary reporting.

What is included in each Founder’s Pack?
The official global site lists three digital tiers. Each higher tier includes the lower tier’s listed contents, with additional cosmetics and items:
| Tier | Reported U.S. price | Listed contents |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $24.99, as reported by AION2 Hub; verify the live regional storefront price | Five-day Advanced Access; one Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest (Bound); Vanguard of Atreia title; 30-day membership |
| Deluxe | $49.99, as reported by AION2 Hub; verify the live regional storefront price | Standard contents, plus Ascended Daeva skin set and Eternal Sun weapon-skin chest |
| Ultimate | $99.99, as reported by AION2 Hub; verify the live regional storefront price | Deluxe contents, plus Daeva’s Styling Chest, Moonlit Aria skin set, Black Dragon pet, and Blazing Sun Wings |
Prices and purchase terms are reported in AION2 Hub’s guide and may vary by region or change; check the price and contents shown for your account before buying. The guide reports that packs are sold through Steam and PURPLE, that a Steam purchase is usable only through Steam and a PURPLE purchase only through PURPLE, and that an account may buy one pack. Choose the platform you intend to play on, because the reported platform lock-in makes the storefront choice consequential.

Is a Founder’s Pack worth buying?
The clearest reason to buy is access five days before the free-to-play opening. The tiers also add membership and digital items, but the value depends on whether you want their specific cosmetics and contents. AION2 Hub’s summary of NC’s notice characterizes the listed skins and other cosmetics as non-stat-boosting; it says the supply chest contains progression-related consumables. The early start itself is an access advantage, so a pack is not equivalent to a cosmetics-only purchase.
- Consider Standard if early access and its listed membership and items are sufficient for you.
- Choose a higher tier only if its additional listed items justify the higher reported price to you.
- Check current storefront terms, refund conditions, and platform compatibility before payment; the reported prices and terms can change.
What launch reward is available?
The official global site says players who create an AION 2 account by December 2, 2026 at 3:30 PM JST are eligible for two free mounts, sent automatically to in-game mail. The reward is granted once per region and must be claimed by December 9, 2026 at 3:30 PM JST. Because these are promotional deadlines, check the official site for current eligibility and claim details.
