Wachete says website checks can run as often as every few minutes on a paid plan, or as infrequently as once a day on the free plan. You choose a monitoring frequency when setting up a monitor, but the exact intervals available depend on your plan. Wachete’s publicly readable plan table does not establish the precise cadence for each named tier.
What Wachete says about check frequency
Wachete describes its configurable range as “Anything from every few minutes to once a day” on its website uptime monitoring page. The frequency is selected for a monitor, and the available cadence depends on the service plan, according to its FAQ.
That range is Wachete’s published product description, not a guarantee that every account or monitor can use every interval within it. The current public plan table does not provide readable, reliable check intervals for each named tier. Confirm the options shown for your account before choosing a plan or relying on a particular schedule.
How to interpret the check schedule
Checks and alerts are separate
A monitoring interval is how often Wachete checks the page. Detection happens when a scheduled check finds a change; notification follows detection. Wachete says paid-plan outage notifications arrive within minutes, as often as the page is checked, but that does not mean every alert is guaranteed to arrive instantly or at an identical time.

If you use the API, inspect the recurrence setting for the monitor. Wachete’s REST API documentation represents recurrence with the
recurrenceInSecondsparameter and gives86400seconds—one day—as an example. This example does not establish that arbitrary recurrence values are available on every plan. -
To assess whether a plan suits your needs, verify the actual permitted interval in your account or with Wachete before subscribing. Also check any relevant page or dynamic-monitor limits and the notification channels available to you; the public plan table does not establish exact current tier-by-tier intervals.

Choosing a cadence
Choose based on how quickly you need to notice a change and what the account’s available settings allow. A daily check can leave a change undiscovered until the next scheduled check; a more frequent cadence can shorten that wait, but notification delivery still follows detection. Wachete’s FAQ says it imposes no monthly check budget and checks pages at the interval chosen for the plan; this is Wachete’s own service claim, not a general rule for other monitoring tools.
Screenshot pages when you need a visual record
Change monitoring tells you when page content or availability changes; a screenshot is useful when you also need a visual snapshot. ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers. It is an alternative to try first when you need clean captures: it accepts cookie and consent banners and removes 60+ known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, and only clean shots are billed.

Does Wachete check while my computer is off?
Yes. Wachete says monitoring runs on its servers, so your computer or phone does not need to stay connected.
Does a check every few minutes guarantee an alert within minutes?
No. The check cadence, detection of a change, and delivery of a notification are separate steps; Wachete does not describe this as a guaranteed instant end-to-end alert.
