To capture the entire webpage, open the screenshot thumbnail, choose Full Page, then save the result as an image in Photos or a PDF in Files. If you saved without selecting Full Page, the file will show only the visible screen.
How to capture the whole webpage in Safari
- Open the webpage in Safari and take a screenshot. On an iPhone with Face ID, quickly press and release the side button and volume-up button together. On an iPhone with a Home button, quickly press and release the side button and Home button together.
- Tap the screenshot thumbnail that appears.
- In the screenshot editor, tap Full Page. Drag the preview to inspect the capture and crop it if needed.
- Choose Save to Photos for an image, or Save PDF to Files for a document.
Apple describes Full Page as a way to capture content beyond the screen, including an entire webpage in Safari. Check that Full Page is selected before choosing where to save; an ordinary screen capture is not the same as a full-page capture. See Apple’s iPhone screenshot guide.

Choose an image or a PDF
- Image in Photos: Use this when you want a picture of the webpage.
- PDF in Files: Use this when you want to keep or share the webpage as a document.
For the separate webpage-to-PDF route in Safari, open the page, tap its Share control, choose Markup, then use the completion and save controls to choose a file destination. Apple documents this as saving a webpage as a PDF, not as a screenshot image. See Apple’s Safari PDF guide.
If Full Page is missing or the capture is still short
First confirm that you opened the screenshot thumbnail and are viewing the screenshot editor. Then check whether Full Page is offered for the page you captured. Apple’s instructions cover Safari; they do not establish that the same option works in every third-party browser or on every webpage. The available information does not identify why Full Page might be absent on a particular iPhone, so a specific software fault or compatibility cause cannot be assumed.
