You can use the steps below to play an uploaded video in a broadcast; do not assume it will loop when playback ends. Be.Live’s documented controls establish upload and display, not repeat playback.
What Be.Live lets you do with an uploaded video
Be.Live’s How to Add Media guide describes uploading an MP4 and using Show in Stream to put it into the broadcast. The guide gives a maximum upload size of 500 MB. Its documentation does not describe a repeat or loop setting. Be.Live also documents uploading intro and outro videos, but does not establish continuous playback there either (Uploading Promo and Outro Videos).
So the reliable answer is: you can display an uploaded MP4 in your Be.Live broadcast, but whether it can be made to repeat continuously is unverified in the cited Be.Live help. Do not treat scheduling or Show in Stream as a loop control.
Upload and show an MP4 in a Be.Live broadcast
- Open the Be.Live studio and choose Media, then Images & Videos.
- Select a local MP4 file. Be.Live’s media guide specifies a 500 MB maximum.
- Use Show in Stream to put the uploaded media into the broadcast.
- If the video does not play, check whether the branding overlay is enabled. Be.Live warns that the overlay prevents video playback.
Be.Live’s help states: “The overlay will not allow you to play the video.” See How to Add Media.

Connect Be.Live to YouTube and start the broadcast
Be.Live’s YouTube setup guide lists a desktop or laptop, a current version of Chrome or Safari, a verified YouTube channel, stable internet, headphones and a webcam among its setup requirements or recommendations.
- In the Be.Live studio, select Set Destination, then choose YouTube.
- Connect the Google account for the channel and grant the requested permissions.
- Choose a privacy setting, enter the stream title and description, then save.
- For an immediate broadcast, leave Schedule Stream off.
- Add the MP4 through Media > Images & Videos, then select Show in Stream.
- Click Start to begin. Use the stop control when you want to end the broadcast.
Scheduling is not a way to make playback repeat
A scheduled Be.Live broadcast is an announcement, not an automatic start: Be.Live says you must start it manually, and the scheduled broadcast must be set up in Be.Live. Scheduling does not establish that an uploaded video will replay. See How to Schedule a YouTube Broadcast.

Choose the YouTube privacy setting carefully
Be.Live describes Public, Private and Unlisted options in its privacy settings guide. It says an Unlisted broadcast can be shared by link and ordinarily does not appear in channel videos or YouTube search unless it is added to a public playlist. Before sharing or publishing a test, check the current visibility in YouTube Studio.
Troubleshoot common setup problems
- The uploaded video will not play: check and disable the branding overlay, which Be.Live says prevents video playback. Confirm the file is an MP4 within the documented 500 MB limit.
- You cannot start a YouTube broadcast: Be.Live’s YouTube live troubleshooting guide lists an unverified account, an interrupted integration and Google-side account limitations as possible causes. Check that the channel is verified and reconnect the integration if needed.
- The scheduled broadcast has not started: start it manually from Be.Live; scheduling alone does not begin the broadcast.
- The video ends and does not restart: the available Be.Live documentation does not establish a repeat control. Do not assume another studio control enables looping.
