If you want prerecorded videos to run continuously on YouTube without leaving a computer on, start with StreamNeo: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives new accounts one free day. Gyre and YTStream are other cloud-hosted options to compare. StreamYard is better suited to shorter prerecorded shows than an unattended 24/7 loop.
Best alternatives at a glance
| Service | Best fit | Continuous prerecorded streaming | Important limit or distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded videos to YouTube | Yes; supports playlists and 24/7 looping | One stream per slot; up to 4K 60fps as uploaded. One free day per account; no card required for the first day. |
| Gyre | Cloud-hosted 24/7 prerecorded YouTube streams | YouTube’s encoder resource describes it for this use | YouTube’s directory describes Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS; this is a product description, not an independent test. |
| YTStream | Cloud playlists with configurable loop counts and transitions | Its product page describes continuous streaming and automatic restart | Displayed per-stream monthly prices vary by resolution; check current terms and availability. |
| StreamYard | Scheduled prerecorded programs, interviews, and multistream production | Not established as a 24/7 looping service | Its pricing page displays prerecorded streams up to four hours on the plan shown. |
The distinctions matter: an unattended cloud loop is not the same thing as a scheduled prerecorded broadcast or a production studio for live interviews. The service descriptions below come from their respective pages; they are not comparative tests.
1. StreamNeo: cloud looping with one price per slot
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or create a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and start the stream. StreamNeo loops the uploaded content in the cloud, so your computer and home internet connection do not need to stay on. It streams to YouTube only and plays uploaded videos; it is not a camera-based live-production tool.
- Quality: your upload streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, with no re-encode and no quality tiers.
- Included per slot: one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot (pooled across active slots), playlists and 24/7 looping, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support.
- Billing: the same product is available on each billing length; only the length changes. You can choose a day, week, month, six months, or year, and cancel any time. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. Contact support for five or more slots.
Current listed billing options:
- Daily $0.99 per day
- Weekly $2.99 per week
- Monthly $9.99 per month
- 6 months $49.99 for 6 months
- Yearly $89.99 a year
StreamNeo offers one free day per account without a card. Before uploading, estimate transfer time with the upload-time calculator; compare cloud and local operating costs with the cloud vs PC cost calculator. For a YouTube content check, use the copyright safety checklist.

2. Gyre: a cloud option identified by YouTube
YouTube’s encoder resource identifies Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded YouTube videos. The resource describes Full HD and 4K streaming at 30 or 60 FPS, a built-in video converter, and operation without a camera or dedicated PC.
Those are directory descriptions, not a benchmark or independent confirmation of service performance. Before choosing Gyre, confirm its current supported formats, storage, stream limits, pricing, and recovery behavior directly with the provider; those details are not established here.

3. YTStream: playlists, loop counts, and restart claims
YTStream’s product page describes a workflow in which you upload prerecorded videos, arrange them in playlists, choose loop counts and transitions, connect a YouTube stream key, and let the service broadcast continuously. It also advertises automatic restart after failure and dashboard analytics. These are vendor claims, not independently verified reliability results.

| Resolution shown | Displayed monthly price per stream |
|---|---|
| 1080p | $19/month |
| 4K | $39/month |
| 8K | $99/month |
YTStream also advertised a $1 trial for 100 hours at 1080p. Treat that as the page’s displayed offer, not a standing guarantee. Its page also makes an algorithm-related promotional claim; YouTube documentation cited here does not establish that a streaming service boosts recommendations, so do not use that claim as a reason to choose it.
4. StreamYard: for shorter prerecorded broadcasts, not a nonstop loop
StreamYard’s pricing page displays prerecorded streams up to four hours and multistreaming to eight destinations on the plan shown. That can suit a scheduled prerecorded program, an interview, or a production workflow that sends a show to multiple destinations. The displayed duration does not establish support for continuous 24/7 looping, so it is not a like-for-like substitute when unattended nonstop playback is the requirement.

What OneStream Live currently offers
OneStream Live remains a relevant baseline. Its Help Center article, last updated September 3, 2026, says its 24/7 feature is exclusive to YouTube and requires Enterprise. The help page describes choosing videos from a device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage, scheduling the stream, and setting its duration in days; the maximum stated run is 30 days.
That makes OneStream potentially suitable if you already use its ecosystem or want to schedule a defined run of up to the stated maximum. Compare its current Enterprise price and terms with the alternatives before deciding; the cited help article does not state that price.

How to choose the right alternative
- Choose a cloud looping service if the channel needs uploaded content to keep playing while your computer is off. Compare supported resolution, playlist controls, storage, stream duration, recovery behavior, and billing—not just the headline price.
- Choose a scheduled production platform if you need a shorter prerecorded show, interviews, overlays, or multistream production rather than a continuous loop.
- Choose a self-hosted encoder if you want direct control over the broadcast setup and can operate the computer and encoder for the full stream. YouTube documents encoder workflows for production that uses hardware such as cameras, microphones, and preamps, as well as software and hardware encoder options in its encoder guidance. A cloud service does not require buying or maintaining a dedicated PC.
For a fair cost comparison, include more than software: a self-hosted setup also depends on a computer, a stable upload connection, electricity, and someone able to respond if the encoder or connection stops. A cloud service transfers the continuous operation to the provider, but its published recovery claims should not be mistaken for independently measured uptime.
YouTube limits that affect every option
Long-stream archives
YouTube Help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that one continuous broadcast lasting longer than that will produce a complete permanent replay; plan separate recordings or shorter sessions if preserving the full content matters. See the YouTube encoder help page.
Concurrent streams
YouTube’s documentation states a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three active streams per stream key. These are YouTube platform limits, not allowances promised by any service. Confirm current limits and your channel’s eligibility before planning parallel broadcasts.
Copyright and live access
A video being prerecorded does not exempt it from YouTube’s Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, or copyright rules. Restrictions can affect a channel’s ability to stream. Confirm that you have the necessary rights for every video, soundtrack, image, and other material, and check YouTube’s current live-stream policies before scheduling a loop.
Common problems and what to check
- The stream will not start: confirm that the YouTube channel is eligible to go live, the stream key is the one for the intended broadcast, and the scheduled stream is configured in YouTube Studio. Avoid exposing or sharing the stream key; replace it if it may have been compromised.
- YouTube reports a dropped or unstable feed: check the service dashboard and YouTube Live Control Room for the current status. For a self-hosted encoder, check the computer, encoder process, and internet connection. For a cloud service, consult its support and verify what its restart or recovery feature covers.
- A playlist stops or repeats unexpectedly: inspect playlist order, loop count, transitions, and any duration setting. Confirm whether the service is set to continuous looping or a scheduled end time.
- The replay is incomplete or unavailable: review the stream’s total duration and YouTube’s under-12-hour automatic archive guidance; do not rely on a single longer stream as the only copy of important content.
- A broadcast is restricted: check YouTube Studio notifications and policy status, then review the rights and policy compliance of the content. A streaming service cannot grant rights to music or remove YouTube restrictions.
- Uploads take too long: estimate upload time before scheduling and allow a buffer for large files. Keep a separate original copy of important videos rather than treating the streaming service as the sole archive.
Or let it run in the cloud
With StreamNeo, upload a recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot. StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, and the monthly option is $9.99 per month. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
