You can make a 24/7 Bollywood music stream by securing permission for every recording and composition, building a continuous audio-and-visual feed, and sending it to YouTube through an encoder. The rights check comes first: a visualizer, a small audience, a free stream, or a consumer music subscription does not make commercial Bollywood recordings safe to broadcast. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and may replace the image, interrupt or terminate a stream, or apply a strike depending on the situation.
Clear the music rights before building the stream
A Bollywood track can involve separate rights in the sound recording (the master) and the underlying musical work, such as its composition and lyrics. YouTube explains that different parties may administer those rights. Permission for one part does not necessarily clear the other.
Make a track-by-track clearance list
- List each recording you intend to play, including alternate versions, remixes, and any music used in a loop or transition.
- Identify the master recording owner and the relevant composition or publishing interests for each track. These may be different parties.
- Obtain written permission that expressly covers live audiovisual streaming on YouTube, the territories where the stream will be available, the duration and continuous rebroadcast, monetization if applicable, and any archived replay. Ask the rights holders or administrators to define the scope rather than assuming one permission covers every use or territory.
- Ask the relevant owner or administrator to add your YouTube channel to its Content ID allowlist before launch. YouTube says a licensed stream may still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
YouTube’s Help guidance says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. A match can lead to a placeholder image, interruption, or termination; depending on the circumstances, a copyright strike may also follow. This applies to a technical test as well as a public broadcast, so test only with cleared material. A Content ID claim is not proof that you hold a license, and a regular consumer music subscription should not be treated as permission to livestream the catalog.
For a practical preflight, use the copyright safety checklist alongside written permissions from the applicable rights holders.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Decide what the visualizer will show
The visualizer needs to be part of the video signal sent to YouTube. That can mean composing cleared music and audio-reactive graphics in an encoder while the stream runs, or rendering the music and visuals together into a finished video before streaming it. In either case, make sure the visual output corresponds to the actual cleared audio and that any track titles or other metadata are accurate.
No particular audio-visualizer plugin, current OBS compatibility, or configuration is established here. Before relying on a plugin, check its current official documentation and test its audio input, motion, output format, and stability with representative material. Do not assume a static image or an audio visualizer changes the copyright status of the music.

Set up a YouTube encoder stream
YouTube’s documented workflow uses an encoder connected to the stream URL and stream key. YouTube distinguishes software encoders running on a computer from standalone hardware encoders. OBS Studio is one software option; its official help portal describes it as free and provides its own guides. No specific OBS version or visualizer plugin compatibility is established here.
- Enable live streaming. In YouTube Studio, enable live streaming for the channel. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours, so do this before the planned start.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Use the server URL and stream key shown for that stream to connect the encoder.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password. Enter it only in the encoder you control; do not publish it, include it in screenshots, or send it to anyone who does not need access. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Build the encoder scene or output. Add your cleared audio source and visualizer source, then arrange the image and any title or track metadata. Confirm the encoder is receiving the intended audio, not a desktop feed that could introduce notifications or unrelated sound.
- Choose output quality your connection can sustain. Use the current encoder guidance shown by YouTube for the resolution and frame rate you select; do not choose a higher output than your upload connection can sustain continuously. The exact bitrate and keyframe values are not specified here, so use YouTube’s current recommendations for your selected format rather than guessing.
- Test before going live. Send a short test using cleared music and motion similar to the planned broadcast. Confirm picture, audio level, visualizer response, and YouTube stream health before starting the long run. YouTube recommends testing beforehand with representative audio and motion and monitoring stream health during the broadcast.
Plan for continuity, monitoring, and archives
A 24/7 broadcast is an operations problem as well as an encoder setup. A computer-based encoder depends on the computer, power, internet connection, and audio/video sources all remaining available. A hardware encoder changes the equipment involved but does not remove the need to plan for connection loss, power interruption, restart behavior, and monitoring.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Decide who will notice a dropped connection or silent feed and how they will restart or recover it.
- Check that the playlist or media source can continue indefinitely without reaching its end, stopping on a dialog, or switching to an unintended source.
- Test reconnection after an encoder restart and after an internet interruption; do not assume a particular setup will recover automatically.
- Consider key security, network redundancy, remote access, and total operating cost if the encoder will run continuously.
- Keep a record of permissions and the tracks used in each broadcast segment so you can investigate claims and manage any replays.
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume one continuous 24/7 session will create a single complete archive; plan for archive segments and check YouTube’s current live-stream limits before relying on recordings.

Troubleshoot the problems most likely to stop a long stream
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|---|
| The stream is interrupted or replaced by a placeholder image. | YouTube detected third-party content, or the channel is not allowlisted despite having permission. | Review the notice in YouTube Studio, confirm written permission covers the exact live and archived use, and contact the relevant rights administrator about Content ID allowlisting. Do not treat a claim alone as proof of licensing. |
| The encoder is not reaching YouTube. | The wrong server URL or stream key may be configured, or the key may have been replaced. | Compare the encoder’s connection details with the current stream’s URL and key in Live Control Room. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder. |
| Video stutters, the connection drops, or stream health degrades. | The selected output may exceed what the upload connection can sustain, or the network may be unstable. | Check YouTube’s stream-health information, test a lower output setting using its current guidance, and verify the connection under conditions like the actual broadcast. |
| The visualizer moves but the stream has no music, or the music plays without the visualizer. | The visualizer may be listening to a different audio source than the encoder is sending, or the scene may not include the intended source. | Check the selected audio input and scene/source configuration in the encoder, then run another short representative test before restoring the long broadcast. |
| The broadcast stops after running for a while. | Power, internet, encoder restart, or playlist exhaustion may have ended the feed. | Inspect the encoder and source state, verify the playlist still has playable media, and follow the recovery plan you tested. Do not assume every encoder or host automatically reconnects. |
