To set up a 24/7 YouTube stream with Gyre, first make sure your YouTube channel is eligible to livestream, then upload your prerecorded video files to Gyre Storage, arrange them in a playlist, connect your channel, and start or schedule the broadcast. Gyre says its cloud servers keep the stream running after setup, so your computer does not need to stay on. You still need to check YouTube’s live status and your channel’s settings.
1. Check that your YouTube channel can livestream
YouTube requires a verified channel with no livestreaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. You must also be at least 16 years old to livestream. Check your channel’s current status in YouTube Studio before configuring Gyre; a third-party streaming service cannot bypass YouTube’s eligibility requirements.

2. Choose a Gyre plan for the stream you need
Compare simultaneous stream capacity, resolution and frame rate, storage, file limits, playlist and scheduling access, watermark, and billing terms. The figures below are those Gyre displayed on its product page on October 3, 2026; they are vendor-listed details, not independently verified, and may change. Confirm the current price, billing interval, and feature limits on Gyre’s pricing page before subscribing.
| Option | Streams and output | Storage and files | Other listed detail | Displayed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7-day trial | One Full HD stream | 20 GB; up to 15 files | Gyre watermark | Free for 7 days |
| Start | One simultaneous Full HD stream | 35 GB | Other listed details not stated | $49 per month |
| Start+ | Four HD streams or one 4K stream | 75 GB | Other listed details not stated | $99 per month |
| PRO+ | Eight HD streams or two 4K streams | 150 GB | Other listed details not stated | $169 per month |
Gyre’s product information describes playlist looping and scheduling, but verify whether the plan you select includes the specific controls you intend to use. Don’t choose on stream count alone: a single high-resolution broadcast and several lower-resolution broadcasts have different capacity needs.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
3. Prepare the prerecorded videos
Gyre’s documented workflow uses prerecorded video files uploaded to Gyre Storage. A video that is already on YouTube is not automatically available as a Gyre source: you need the source file available to upload. Follow Gyre’s current preparation guidance and YouTube’s specifications for the output quality you plan to stream.
- Gather the original video files and confirm they play correctly before uploading.
- Check the selected plan’s storage quota and file-count limit against your playlist.
- Use content you have rights to stream, including music, footage, and other incorporated material. A continuous loop does not grant permission to use copyrighted work.
See Gyre’s video preparation guide for its current file-preparation instructions.

4. Upload files and build the playlist in Gyre
- Upload to Gyre Storage. Add each prerecorded file you want included in the broadcast. Wait for uploads to finish before configuring the stream.
- Arrange the playlist. Put the files in the intended playback order and check the playlist settings for looping. Confirm your plan includes the playlist features you need.
- Connect your YouTube channel. In Gyre, authorize or connect the channel that should carry the broadcast. Review the account and channel shown before proceeding.
- Configure the broadcast. Select the playlist and set the stream details and output options available for your plan.
- Start or schedule it. Launch the stream from the Gyre dashboard, or schedule it if that feature is available on your plan. Check YouTube’s live control room to confirm that the broadcast is actually live.
Gyre describes this upload, playlist, channel-connection, and launch or scheduling sequence in its product information. Its 2026 guide says its servers send the stream after setup, allowing the creator to turn off the computer. Cloud operation removes the need to keep your own computer online for the stream, but it is not a guarantee against interruptions; check stream health and have a recovery plan.
5. Verify monetization and YouTube settings
Do not assume that a live broadcast is monetized just because your channel or other videos earn revenue. Gyre’s update says broadcasts created through third-party tools use YouTube channel monetization defaults, and monetization may start disabled if the relevant setting is off. Eligibility and actual settings depend on your channel. Check YouTube Studio for the broadcast’s monetization status and any available controls before relying on ads or mid-rolls.

These are vendor-reported details about Gyre’s YouTube integration, not a promise of monetization. YouTube’s rules, channel eligibility, and settings determine what is available.
6. Keep the stream healthy
- Confirm the broadcast in YouTube. A launch action in Gyre is not by itself confirmation that viewers can see a live broadcast; check the YouTube control room.
- Watch for interruptions. Gyre’s cloud setup means your computer can be off, but you should still monitor stream health and know how you will respond if YouTube or the service interrupts the broadcast.
- Review the playlist and storage. If a file is missing, out of order, or not uploaded to Gyre Storage, the planned playback will not match your intended schedule.
- Check plan limits before adding streams. More simultaneous streams, higher output quality, and additional files can affect which plan is suitable.
Common setup problems
| Problem | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a YouTube livestream | The channel is not verified, has a recent livestream restriction, or the user does not meet YouTube’s age requirement. | Review YouTube’s livestream eligibility and channel status before troubleshooting Gyre. |
| A video is unavailable in Gyre | The source file has not been uploaded to Gyre Storage. | Upload the original file and confirm the upload is complete. |
| The playlist or scheduling option is missing | The selected plan may not include the feature. | Check the plan’s current feature list and limits. |
| The broadcast is live but not monetized | The channel’s third-party broadcast default or the channel’s monetization eligibility may prevent monetization. | Check the broadcast settings and channel eligibility in YouTube Studio. |
| The stream stops or does not appear live | A service interruption, YouTube issue, or configuration problem may be involved. | Check the Gyre dashboard and YouTube control room, then use the service’s current support guidance to recover the broadcast. |

If you want an always-on YouTube stream without keeping a computer or home internet connection running, StreamNeo is another cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It plays uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.
