PhoneArena reported on October 3, 2026, that Amazon was offering $200 off the 13-inch iPad Pro M4 with 512GB of storage, describing the reduction as 13%. That report is a dated deal listing, not confirmation that the price or stock is still available at checkout.
What the reported iPad Pro M4 deal includes
The offer covered one specific configuration: the 13-inch iPad Pro with Apple’s M4 chip and 512GB of storage. PhoneArena described the $200 reduction as 13% off and said Amazon was the retailer. Its October 3 report does not establish today’s checkout price, availability, or whether the same configuration remains discounted. Check the live listing and final cart total before deciding.
PhoneArena’s writer, Polina Kovalakova, characterized the cut as unusually large for this model, writing that Amazon “rarely lets you save more than $200.” That is her description of deal frequency, not a systematic price-history analysis.
Why this is a previous-generation iPad Pro
Apple introduced the 11-inch and 13-inch M4 iPad Pro models on May 7, 2024, according to its product environmental report. PhoneArena highlights the M4 chip and Tandem OLED display. MacRumors reported that Apple discontinued the M4 iPad Pro when the M5 iPad Pro launched in October 2025, so the reported Amazon offer was for a previous-generation model.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That makes the M4 a potential lower-cost alternative to a same-size M5, but the available reporting does not provide a verified current M5 price. To compare fairly, match screen size and storage, then compare current checkout totals, condition, warranty, and seller—not just the headline discount.
How the M4 performed in PhoneArena’s reported measurements
PhoneArena reported nearly 11 hours of continuous browsing and up to 8 hours 20 minutes of continuous video streaming. It also said its own testing found a full charge took nearly two and a half hours. These are outlet-reported measurements; the deal report does not give a testing protocol for the battery figures, and they are not Apple specifications or independently replicated results.

Refurbished M4 models: a dated price reference
MacRumors reported on April 3, 2026, that Apple refurbished M4 iPad Pro models started at $759 for 11-inch models and $1,019 for 13-inch models, with prices varying by configuration. These are historical starting prices, not current quotes, and should not be compared directly with the 13-inch, 512GB Amazon offer without checking storage and condition.
MacRumors says Apple refurbished devices undergo testing, repair, repackaging, and cleaning, and carry the same one-year warranty as new devices. Check Apple’s current refurbished listings for availability and the exact configuration before treating those earlier prices as a buying option.

Does the deal prove the iPad is selling strongly?
No sales volume or sell-through figure accompanies the reported discount in the sources cited here. A price cut can show that a retailer is promoting a configuration; by itself, it does not establish that the iPad Pro M4 is “selling like hotcakes.” The supported takeaway is narrower: PhoneArena reported a $200 Amazon discount on a particular 13-inch, 512GB M4 model on October 3, 2026.
